Re: Forgot to wash mask today

Heck yes!
You may discover, as I did, that daily washing is not only unnecessary,
but A PAIN IN THE BUTT!
Whatever level of cleaning that makes you feel comfortable is just fine.
It is YOUR equipment, after all.
You are the only one that knows, or cares.

Re: How food affects sleep, from NYTimes

Good way to avoid a paywall.
I use a similar tactic to slip around yahoo rabbit holes.
Good Lord; it's a minefield in there!

Congratulations on the new toy!
Just ignore the photography critic.
I'm sure he's jealous--so jealous, it's comical.
Anybody can take pictures.

" . . . and keep stalling."
I almost read, "And keep STEALING."
Yes, I said it--and I was not the only one THINKING it.

Re: How to determine CDMA carrier for ResMed AirSense 10

What is this obsession people have about the cellular carrier?
At least some have gotten over the impression that wi-fi has anything to do about it.

If you are afraid of 5g for some weird idea, just turn on airplane mode.

If he/she orders a sleep study you probably won't have to pay for it.
We never had to pay anything.
[Most do, but it is worth it.]
A sleep study is the only way to determine if you have apnea.
[Not quite--but it is the best]
Please remember, not everybody has the same insurance.

Re: How food affects sleep, from NYTimes

Kiwi FRUIT--fairly yummy, but sometimes a bit too acidic for one with reflux, as many of us are so afflicted. Also too much fiber for one with a gut that is too easily "over-stimulated". (Not good to wake up in a puddle of poo.) Once again-- one size does not fit all, in fact those most likely to be...

Re: Do I have sleep apnea?

Not everyone has drops in oxygen. (Desats)
Other symptoms of apnea are nightmares of running or other strenuous activity,
with multiple awakenings with extreme stress.and daytime sleepiness.
Pray tell, what induced you to test your oxygen levels?

I can hardly wait until my hair has grown out enough to cover the grooves in my scalp.
I understand that they were always there, but seeing them is disturbing.

If you don't know, you must be doing something RIGHT . . .
Vaping, just another filthy, unhealthy habit.
Like smoking; slow suicide.
Also like smoking; anything but painless.
I would choose something quick, like skydiving.

Re: Resmed Airsense 11 - AC/DC adapter?

. . . Because the Re$med motor has to be more responsive, (to allow it to do FOT) and using higher voltage allows smaller gauge windings while still delivering the required power. . . . THIS FOT--Not everybody can do it. Or cares to. Approximations done by others are much more noticeable, and distu...

Re: Traveling with CPAP

Spring water varies depending on the geology at the source. (The spring)
It can be sweet and very soft, like in the sandhills where I lived--
or full of all kinds of minerals if that is what is in the aquifer.
The designation "spring" water is meaningless without an assay of the content.

Re: Resmed Airsense 11 - AC/DC adapter?

No. You skipped over the part that says Resmed uses 24 volts because the
superior technology they use REQUIRES it.
My Devillbiss is inferior, but for temporary use it's OK.
My Airsense 10 Autoset provides the "finesse", etc. that I need now.
