So Clean
Does anyone use this machine to clean your machine. I bought one but had to use their adapter lid for my machine, Med Res S 9. I am about ready to buy a new cpap and would prefer not to have to change lids. What cpap machines work with a So Clean without having to use an adapter? What are some of th...

Re: sleep apnea pillows
I went ahead and ordered the polar foam. I think the Genesis polar foam is just a newer foam. It's probably better but the other one cost less and I thought it might be almost as good.

Re: sleep apnea pillows
Yes, it would be nice to try them. I would settle for just knowing the difference between Genesis and non-genesis. What is Genesis when it comes to a pillow?
Maybe flippling a coin isn't a bad idea.

I was all set to order one, but I can't tell which is best. * Contour CPAP pillow It has a little slot on each side for the mask. * Polar Foam Genesis SleePAP pillow * Polar foam SleePAP pillow * SleePAP Pillow Is t...

Re: TSA and Slinky
I have to fly to see one set of grandchildren. They're worth putting up with TSA. I had one bad experience with the junk pat down last July when I used lotion before packing my CPAC. I'm glad to see attitudes toward TSA have changed since then.

insurance
My question doesn't seem to be posting. I'm wondering if it's possible to bypass insurance and just buy replacement parts on our own. Insurance slows things down.

Re: New TSA rules?
A TSA agent asked me if I noticed that they didn't take the CPAP to swab it. He said that they have new technology that allows them to check it when it goes down the conveyor belt. It's more convenient. They just have new technology, not new rules.

Re: nasal cushions
Thank you everyone. I might try them again next time my husband isn't home. Someone asked if I'm inserting the pillows too far. I think I did, but then it seemed as if there was something about the way the mask was made or adjusted that caused them to be pushed in. I wasn't able to figure out how to...

Is there a way to find threads you started quickly without having to just go back through the list. I asked a question but didn't get back for a few days.

nasal cushions
I recently got some. They were very comfortable when the assistant tried them on me in my doctor's office, but they hurt when I tried to wear them. Has anyone else had that experience?

Re: Pat downs because of CPAP machines
Sharon, Wait a second--what surgery? Bless your heart! If the surgery has happened already, I hope everything was easy-breezy. If you're still in pre-surgery mode, hope it all goes better than you've anticipated. Let us know! >>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Brazospear, You are so kind. Thank you for th...

Re: Pat downs because of CPAP machines
Webbie, If you set off the alarm when you walk through, they'll wave the wand and only touch where the wand goes off. If the wand goes off when they test your CPAC machine, they give you a full body pat down and touch you all over. Then they take the gloves they touched you with and test them. They ...

Re: Pat downs because of CPAP machines
I fly several times each month. I have NEVER been patted down because of my CPAP. . >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I have had a companion pass on Southwest for over a decade. I fly free when my husband flies, so I fly often. The incident over the 4th of July was the first time I'd been patted down over the ...
