Re: pressure difference with new mask?

how about instead of being bitchy, you go back and READ any of the posted instructions and see if you can't clue into the *POINT* of them. Clearly you are an individual who lacks the ability and maturity to engage in a cordial manner with others. It's funny how people that are clueless always jump ...

Re: ClimateLine heated hose issues with AirCurve 10 Vauto

Is there anyway to use a larger diameter hose w the Vauto? I dislike that the climate line is the slimmer diameter and it's far less flexible than the heated tube on a Respironics for example. You can use a larger diameter non heated hose if you wish. Typically they aren't particularly flexible tho...

You nailed it with this post. But then you always do.

Re: pressure difference with new mask?

Can you be more specific about what you don't understand? I’m not sure how to read/interpret the AHI graph, Minute vent, Insp. Time, Exp. Time. The AHI graph is useless, MV is your average total respiration volume over a minute. Exp time, how long your exhalation is Ignore all of them. And the pres...

Re: Sensors used by CPAP manufacturers

Those blue things are not sensors, they are tubes that lead to the sensor. The flow sensor needs a differential pressure sensor. The mask pressure sensor measures what we call gage pressure, which could be a differential sensor with one port open to the atmosphere. I have not disassembled my machin...

Palerider has never bought anything from any brick and mortar DME that I am aware of.
Totally done all his therapy on his own.
I *have* bought a couple hoses and a few other little things from a couple online DMEs, but nothing from any 'in person' one, (except for a wheelchair).

Re: Anyone in DFW area find a DME with Airsense 11?

You might want to ask Palerider, who lives there. or perhaps palerider will see the thread topic and pop in to answer! (he's tricky like that.) Julie's just being a troll, pay no attention. I, of course, wouldn't have any idea what the stocking situation at any vendor would be.

My recollection is that he felt that it was getting close to being a ventilator rather than creating an "environment".
Hopefully that's not what was said, because that's just nonsense words.

It's always great when you have medical people that are willing to work with you, not just tell you what to do.

Re: Waking Frequently

I rent my machine which includes a technician who adjusts my settings. I can't adjust the settings. You could if you wanted to. He lowered the max, because I suspected that when it hit high levels, albeit infrequently, it was waking me. Your suspicion was probably wrong. How can I adjust the settin...
