Re: Anyone else experiencing connection problems here on the forum

Just got this below. Took me 4 tries to get past it. Annoying as hell.

Anyone else experiencing connection problems here on the forum

So.....I am still repeatedly getting the connection failure for the forum saying something about "security lacking confirmation" ....I got a picture of it somewhere but can't find it right now. And I have to repeatedly keep "retrying" to connect and sometimes it works and sometimes it takes a half a...

Re: Please interpret my flow limitations - UARS is debilitating

I was told you were good at interpreting wave forms. Me as a person or the forum members in general? Rubicon is much better at this thing than I am. I just dabble in it and I only barely understand the basics. When I see something like your report my eyes glaze over. I don't normally evaluate flow ...

Re: Please interpret my flow limitations - UARS is debilitating

I’m 99% sure the “unclassified apneas” you’re noticing are just treatment-emergent central apneas, I don't know that I agree or disagree with your thoughts at this time. Some of that mess got flagged when you were obviously not asleep. Do we have any reports with either a much lower PS/EPR (as you ...

Re: F&P Vitera mask broke....

What size? I found a medium at Amazon for 67.99. It is offered without a cushion but not easy to find. https://www.amazon.com/Assembly-Kit-Without-Headgear/dp/B08HG3L746 Some other websites also offer it but the cost is $114 which I think is MSRP. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/fisher-paykel-viter...

Re: New Machine

I don't have insurance so I'll just be paying cash. What make/model cpap do you have now? You can save a bunch of cash n grief if you buy whatever model you have now. Hopefully its a Resmed AS 10 auto? The 11 has nothing you need to pay extra for. His profile is showing a Respironics PR System One ...

Re: Airfit N30 headgear

I can verify that the P10 headgear and the N30 headgear are the same and interchangeable between the 2 masks.

I own both models so I know for sure.

This is the stretchy part of the headgear.....the frames for the 2 masks are different but the headgear is the same.

Re: New Machine

Are you going to be going through a DME and want to use your insurance or are you just going to buy the new machine yourself? ResMed is still the way to go but depending on who's paying might influence your machine choice. Also...if you buy it yourself do you need or care about having a modem phone ...

You have to make a public link to your report at SleepHQ and post it here so that the members can then access your report.
We have no way to look it up.

Re: Strap/Cushion Advice Needed for Neck Conditions

I opted to use a mask with minimal or zero straps. It may not be an option for you if you just have to use a full face mask because your mouth won't/can't stay shut. Now if you want to try a nasal mask of some sort and can keep your mouth shut (for the most part) then you might consider a different ...

Re: Strap/Cushion Advice Needed for Neck Conditions

Which DreamWear model mask? Full face model or either the nasal cushion model or the nasal pillow model? I have cervical spine problems very similar to yours but I use a different mask so my solution may not be the best solution for you. I have even had surgery on my neck and I have a metal plate in...

Re: One week on CPAP, would appreciate some input regarding my stats

Again the bulk of your flagged events in your AHI last night (which is still low even if they were for sure all asleep) are arousal related. So this leads me to believe that at least your OSA is well treated. If it wasn't well treated we would expect to see a lot of "real asleep" flagged events and ...

How old are you?
Male or female?
How is your overall sleep quality? Wake often during the night or sleep soundly for the most part?
