Re: New user introduction
other discomforts like a tender shoulder or achy lower back from lying in a weird position for too long and that causes me to toss and turn until the alarm goes off at 5:30. While probably minor issue...any discomfort that messes with sleep is a potential factor in overall sleep quality declining. ...

Re: anxiety, learning to tolerate CPAP
Will OSCAR show me how much I really sleep? To be clear about what OSCAR reports and what it doesn't report and what it simply can't report. First of all OSCAR can only show you the data that the machine can and does gather and report. Your machine has zero way to know if you are asleep or not so O...

Re: New user introduction
Something to think about as I am throwing this out there as potential contributing factors to crappy sleep. https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/sexual-health/in-depth/testosterone-therapy/art-20045728 Testosterone therapy has various risks, including: Worsening sleep apnea — a potentially s...

Forgive me if I already asked this question but do you take any meds of any kind? If so, what?

Re: They laughed at my machine
Is this the place you were looking at pics? Should be a place to put in the serial # of your device to register it if it is part of the recall. Just be sure you are not using the serial # of the humidifier. https://www.usa.philips.com/healthcare/e/sleep/communications/src-update I read all their in...

Re: They laughed at my machine
Any model number with "50" in it...250, 450, 550, 650, 750, 950 etc makes it a "50 series" System One and any model number with "60" in it...260, 460, 560, 660, 760, 960 etc makes it a "60" series System One I guarantee you that the all the 50/60 series machines were included in the recall as well. ...

Re: They laughed at my machine
Thanks for checking again. Like I said...all the System One models were included in the recall but perhaps your particular serial number fell through the cracks at the beginning of this whole mess. To be honest I doubt it is going to hurt you after all this time but then again I am OCD about some th...

Re: AS 11 Humidifier and Heated Hose Suddenly Stopped Working
Sorry...you got all the ideas that I had. While rare...heating systems do fail on these devices. As for a hard to get hold of DME....might want to think about changing suppliers once you get this issue sorted out. If they have a brick and mortar store close by....I would be getting my little behind ...

Re: AS 11 Humidifier and Heated Hose Suddenly Stopped Working
Do you have a different hose you can try....either heated or non heated hose? Do you get any sort of message show up on the machine LCD screen when you attach the hose to the machine? It wouldn't be impossible for there to be some sort of broken wire in the heated hose thereby creating a short in th...

Re: Awesome first night with AirFit N30i
The cpap.com video says you can't use the P10 headgear with the N30 cushion, Well...sometimes they get it wrong or sometimes ResMed tells them something wrong because they want people to buy brand new headgear. Now to be clear I am talking about only the stretchy part of the headgear and not about ...

Re: They laughed at my machine
No, it's not one of the serial numbers that was recalled. Are you absolutely certain it wasn't on the recall list? My understanding it was all machines after the M series and your 450 is definitely after the M series models. Both the 50 series and 60 series were included in the recall ....all model...

Re: Water Resevoir Question
I'm unclear whether distilled is meant to protect the machine, or us. Distilled water or tap water or bottled water or toilet water....don't/won't affect the machine itself. Think about it. All the mechanical parts in the circuit are prior to the air passing over the water to pick up the moisture. ...
