Re: Looking for a new Sleep Specialist--Mississauga Ontario
I'm with Dr T Inouye out of Credit valley hosp. I just switched to him. I had no issues. Certainly gave me a heck of a lot more info than the last guy. I don't have to see him again for another two years unless an issue pops up.

Re: are you fully recovered after CPAP or still tired?Poll pleas
A year and a few months in and I feel like a million bucks!
(no other health issues that would contribute to "tiredness", unless you count one 17 year old son stressing his mother out to the max)

Re: How do you maintain your dignity while using your CPAP?
We all go through so much when we start this road to better sleeping/living. I can understand your desire to feel "normal". I struggled deeply when I first got my mask and yes...it was a question of vanity as opposed to dignity. I admit I am very conscious of my appearance. Some say it's vanity. I s...

Re: OT: Suite hotel in Toronto?
How quick was this. I sent hubby and email. Some of the exec's use this service when they are here short term. They rent by the night/week/month. Fully furnished condos downtown. http://www.mls-apartment.com/ http://www.cambridgesuitestoronto.com/specials-and-packages/hot-dates-great-rates.asp If yo...

Re: OT: Suite hotel in Toronto?
If you are going with kids the Delta Chelsea is always a good bet. Not sure if they have suites but they have a big pool, waterslides, a whole area for kids activities. The King Eddie (Edward) is nice but needs a good overhaul. Stayed there last year for an overnight escape with hubby. Overpriced fo...

Okay....I don't know what that original post was. Incoherant at best. I agree with those who stated it looks like something got copied and pasted incorrectly. Re: Percy Waters Florist. Here's the deal with these folks. I ran my own company for many years. I was in the wholesale flower market. Percy ...

Re: Disappointed in cpap (uncommon down sides)
Cast iron skillet huh? For use on said MIL? I got my revenge last night and made my husband talk to his mother when she called. He claimed it was cruel and unusual punishment. Re my golf game? Perhaps I wrote too soon. I had a killer round today on Canada's highest rated course (for difficulty). Not...

Disappointed in cpap (uncommon down sides)
I figured after a year and a bit of cpap my golf game would have improved. Humph.... I think I want my money back. Can I just say I'm thrilled that I'm alive and breathing, and sleeping the way a human is supposed to.....even if my golf game still sucks. I do however have the energy to take lessons....

Mars...LOVE the last post!
Let's see, we've got Mars, cats, frauliens, trolls, and Jimmy Olsen. add Voldemort, and Harry and we could have a whole new screenplay ready to go.
Let me know when everyone is singing Kumby-a.

Re: How long did it take you to start sleeping all night on cpap
1st night I got rainout but slept pretty much most of the night. Night two 8+ hours. Never had a problem adjusting to that part. Before I started to feel better? Well...truth be told I felt worse before starting to feel better. Like awful. Bout a month later started feeling fantastic. (proviso...fir...

Re: Reactions of other less informed c-pap users.
I didn't answer either as i don't know or have met many with OSA. When I was first diagnosed, I got the software, learned everything I could and checked my data everyday. After about 6 months I knew things were working well so i only started checking the data maybe once a week or every two weeks. No...

Woohoo Sunlife Insurance
Good news bad news kind of thing. Good news...which is HUGE.... My insurance company will now let me buy my cpap supplies online so long as I get a detailed receipt. I can also buy anywhere internationally if I so desire. (too bad Resmed won't let the companies ship to Canada, but that's why I have ...
