Re: ResMed Air Sense 10 Air Blowing Cold

The air the machine blows is your room air. It would be the same temp. as the air you are breathing in your room. It is the moist air from the humidifier that warms the air you breathe. If you run out of water, the machine cannot produce humidity and you are back to the temp. of your room.

Not sure what components are made in China for ResMed. From ResMed web site... "Is ResMed made in China? All finished products sold outside of China are built or created outside of China. However, there are Chinese-made components that are used on ResMed products." https://sprylyfe.com/pages/resmed...

Re: Selling a cpap machine

I recently got a new cpap machine but still have a, perfectly good old one. I was wondering if there is a market for selling used machines? Any advice that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.. Keep the older machine as a travel unit or a back up in case something happens to your primary.

Re: Mask Leak reset

When I take off my mask, and intend on putting it on soon, I press the switch on the top of the unit. Pressing the left or right side of this rocker switch causes the unit to go into a ‘standby’ state (pressing the center of this switch turns the unit off completely) that emits a steady but weak st...

It is not necessary to change pressures when you change masks.

Re: OSCAR Stopped Displaying Data

Are you using an SD Card? Do you keep the card inserted in the CPAP all the time..except when you are downloading data? Are you sure that the card is not locked?

Re: Treatment Emergent Central Apneas- Resolution?

A few Centrals can be ignored. They usually come from irratic breathing when you are just falling asleep or on the verge of getting up. If you consistantly get large numbers clumped together you should be concerned and see your doctor.

Re: FIRST NIGHT - help?

The CPAP sends a constant pressure. You are the one that controls how often or how deeply you breathe. 5-6 hours the first night is great. Your breathing will even out as you get used to the machine/mask.

Re: Diagnosed by Lofta: How to choose first mask to try?

I had a call with the Lofta person this morning. I was pretty unimpressed. She skipped right to the ordering process, not surprisingly, and when I started asking questions about masks she really just said it was personal preference and offered almost zero advice. The only thing she said if you brea...
