Re: Rest in Peace

Like all who saw this notice before me, I am shocked and deeply saddened. Snoredog shared his knowledge generously, and his knowledge was vast. He helped me a great deal during the short time I "knew" him on this forum. I will truly miss learning from him, and reading his witty tete-a tete's with ot...

Re: cushioning for the mirage quattro FF mask -- please help

I just put one of those tiny circle bandaids at the bridge of my nose and then put the mask on, and that eliminated the bridge of the nose soreness for me.

Re: OSA and life insurance

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure if they collect premiums for you they are required to cover you, at least for the time they collected premiums. You might want to check on that.

Re: Fat face? FFM user? Tell me what mask you love.

Thanks for the update. I've been watching your post because I am having terrible mouth leaking problems and the quattro ffm leaks like crazy on me. I'll be keeping my eyes open for the zzzz mask on cpapauction now.

Re: Is there any "attractive" CPAP equipment out there?

Cool looking is in the eyes of the beholder...seems to me the further they get from neutral colors, the more they narrow their customer base. Wouldn't a beige or gray machine blend in better in more people's bedroom than a brown machine with pink circles? I agree with the others...get creative and d...

Re: Deciphering Somnologica report

Periodic Leg Movements can hurt your sleep without your realizing it. It can keep you from getting into the deeper, more restorative levels of sleep without fully waking you up. When I had my first sleep study, I was having 86 arousals per hour, which averages more than one per minute. I was not awa...

Re: Does aflex cause leaks?

I think there is a potential for aflex to cause leaks, in a roundabout way. When I posted my most recent data, Den suggested switching to cflex because my snoring was causing the aflex to try to react, which raised the pressure, which created small leaks, which the aflex tried to respond to by raisi...

Re: What should I do next???

Thanks all. I've tried the tape and the chin strap separately, but not together. I will try that tonight and see how it goes. I'll try for a few days then report back. If that doesn't work, I will look at the Ultra Mirage FFM, the zzz mask and the hybrid $$$$$ Thanks again!!

Re: check cpap in luggage?

I don't know if your homeowner's insurance would cover it, if your machine disappeared. But I do know the airlines really limit their liability for lost baggage in the fine print on your ticket...so unless you can afford to replace it out of your own pocket, I'd definitely carry mine on board with me.

Re: What should I do next???

Okay, I'll make the pressure changes. What else should I try to reduce the leaks? Do you think I should try another FF mask? If so, what would be your next recommendation? Thanks.

Re: Call For CPAPAuction.com Feedback System Opinions

Please don't stop allowing negative feedback...it helps future buyers decide if they want to purchase from that seller. As buyers, we can go in and look at the specific comments to determine how credible we think the commentator is. I'd like to see sellers be required to post their feedback within 3...

What should I do next???

I really need help. Leaks are killing me. The last time I posted data, it was with a Swift LT, and my leaks were terrible. I tried taping but couldn't keep it taped, even with several piece of tape, I'd wake up with the tape popped open. Then I tried a chin strap, without much improvement. Most rece...
