Re: Titrated Pressure + Open mouth = Decompression?
Perhaps I should clarify. I should of mentioned doing this while awake, and just experimenting. At lower pressures, you could open your mouth and no air will fly out. Now there has to be some pressure where soon as you open your mouth, it will fly out. How is this pressure related to your titrated p...

Titrated Pressure + Open mouth = Decompression?
Just curious, opening your mouth (with nasal mask/machine on) at your titrated pressure imply that decompression out your mouth should occur? I can have my mask on, turn on machine open my mouth and stop the air from rushing out. I can (if I focus), breath through my mouth. -- Just waiting for Frida...

Re: New pressure and the LT Swift.
Did you soak the mask in a mild soap solution for a while before wearing it? I react to new cpap masks and hoses unless I do this. Just one possibility. Hi, I try to clean the mask everymorning as part of my daily routine. Some days, when I am running late, I don't. I then leave the mask on a clean...

New pressure and the LT Swift.
Greetings, My new titration pressure is 10, used to be 7 when I was originally diagnosed with severe OSA. I was told to stay at 7 for six weeks and then go for another PSG and they'll figure out my real pressure. Originally, with the DME I got a Mirage Activa mask, which I got used to fairly quickly...

Padacheek (trial) + LT Swift Review
My LT Swift + Padacheek Review First off, I would like to thank Karen for letting me participate in the trials for her product. Second, I am new to CPAP, about 6 weeks in. The LT Swift is my primary mask. For me, the LT Swift was a near perfect mask, the only thing I thought after using it was to ch...

Re: Quick condensation question...
Thinking about that.... makes obvious sense. It should go back where it came from, which is the humidifier. Which is full of water ... already.

Quick condensation question...
Greetings,
Quick question:
If I put the machine below my bed, and run the hose up to bed level to my mask, and
condensation occurs in the hose. Isn't there a chance the water will condense inside
the hose, and go back towards the machine and possibly ruin it?

Re: Newbie who has a question about sleeping pillows
Hiya, Just sharing what I did. I also had a nice squishy pillow, which when you place your head in the middle the sides of the pillow would come up. This is fine, until you become a CPAP user and used to sleeping on your side. The pillow would push up against the mask, either causing leaks, or press...

Cpapauction ship to Canada?
I noticed cpapauction.com seller's don't ship to Canada? I really want to try out Swift LT, been hearing good news about it, but I have to pay out of pocket (insurance only covers a mask every 12 months, and I just started CPAP with a Activa). Every seller only ships to within the US? -- Kumbakaran

Vibratory Snore .. I don't get it
Greetings, I finally got the card reader + software going. Now I have a questions! I was a little baffled about Vibratory Snore, I am averaging 300-500 VS's a night. The VS vertical slashes on the graphs are so close together, that its all solid. There are periods of no snoring but they are so short...

Cleaning Activa Mirage nasal mask
I was told to clean the mask once a week with warm water and a weak
soap (I use baby bodywash from Johnson & Johnson). I was also told to
not let water sit in the mask.
How do you guys get the water out? I been using a Q-Tip, or a tissue folded over many times.
