I have slept with it for two nights now, haven't checked my nuimbers yet, but I like the interface. It is louder than my Activa, but I am getting used to the noise... I do still need to try a smaller size pillows, the the medium definitely doesn't leak because I have to cram into my nares, but I sho...

Thanks, Rested Gal. I will give their 800 # a try... it's worth a shot. I think I might be able to make the medium work, but I am not sure how comfortable it will be for an actual full night. Yeah, the noise worries me. I am hoping someone knows a lab rat fix... I haven't a clue how to help minimize...

Nasalaire II pillow swap, anyone?

Hi all. I have been using the Activa for the last year, and finally got adventuresome enough to try the Nasalaire II. I guessed on my nasal prong size, and ordered the medium/medium plus/large combination. I probably should have gone with the small/medium/medium plus combo, but at the time, I though...

Well, besides the pain from the braces being new (teeth hurt), it all went well last night with CPAP. I use the Activa and tape my mouth, and the new braces didn't seem to change anything. So, at least for me, no difference.

Sleep well,

Sorry, all, I thought my second post actually went thru, but it didn't. I should have checked. The free Hybrid hair protector is spoken for, however, anyone who is interested, Padacheek does wonderful work and the hair protector she invented for my Activa is AWESOME. I haven't had any more hair brea...

Free to 1st reply - PADACHEEK's Hybrid hair protector

Hybrid owners - PADACHEEK has been working with me on creating a strap cover to prevent hair breakage, unfortunately, she thought I had a Hybrid, and I don't. So, if anyone is interested, I have a very cool strap cover creation for Hybrid that may help decrease hair breakage, if anyone is interested...

So, anybody using CPAP with braces?

Hi all! I have been using APAP just over a year now, and have had good success - with HUGE thanks to all who have helped me achieve that by posting info on this forum and answering my various questions along the way. I just got braces put on today and am curious if there's anything I should know bef...

Under the YMMV category, I had the surgery 16 years ago... as with any surgery I had prior to or after that surgery, I found my worst day was 24-48 hours after the actual surgery, when the good IV drugs wore off. My best piece of advice to anyone having surgery, is to start the pain meds before the ...

In case there's somoneone else who didn't realize it...

One medical issue exacerbated by my use of APAP is dry eyes (YMMV). I changed contact brands, and three days later ended up with a scratched and inflamed cornea. One week of wearing glasses and using eye drops healed the cornea issues, but my opthamologist then advised I have dry eyes (which has neve...

Thanks all who replied and my apologies in the delay in responding. I will be purchasing a home monitor and working on tracking my b/p for a while. I have never been on meds for b/p and would like to try to avoid that, if possible. Thanks again for the feedback, it was helpful. " " Take care, Tash

Blood pressure increasing since starting APAP

Hi all, hope everyone is doing well. I just had my yearly physical, and my blood pressure, which was normally at 124/80 (on the high end of ok) has gone to 144/92. I have also checked it a couple of times at the grocery store in the last few months, it was in the 130s/over mid to high 80s..(I though...

Congrats on a successful first night! It is great you can see improvement from the first night (try to remember the "wins" for when the bad nights happen....)

There's a good bunch of knowledgable folks here, if or when you encounter problems, this is the best place for answers.

Sleep well,
