Great topic. I love sharing shortcuts. I live in a cold winter climate and keep my bedroom coolish to sleep. PM 1. Get changed for bed (clothes) 2. Do teeth/Wash up and moisturize face/other lady type tasks 3. Plug in heated hose. 4. Refill water in HH if needed. (Use funnel gal of distilled H2O) 5....

Delta even deeper?

I was searching tonight for comments about the deepness of our sleep. I am getting to REM quite well, and sort of remembering (so I know I got there and came out...) I have trouble in the early AM getting back to sleep after "my bathroom break". I bought a CD called Delta Sleep System and by night 2...

Feeling rested

After more than a year on CPAP, I am occasionally groggy. BUT Most mornings I feel quite rested. I make sure I am ready to sleep with a good "ritual of preparation". When I feel rested I usually realize I was dreaming, but cannot without a lot of concentration remember details to my dreams. I think ...

Actually, convince your Dr. (get a prescription for the unit you need) by having a chat showing your complete understanding of your goals and your willingness to be your own monitor with or without tech's help. I showed my NEW tech my last 2 months results this week and she was amazed. She is workin...

My 89 cent fix

On my swift I removed the two velcro end strips from both straps, cut a piece of 1 inch wide by XX inches of elastic (sewing notion) and made them connect in the center part of each of the bands ike this [ strap]=elastic=[strap] Trying it on before final sewing; I adjusted the length to be comfortab...

Loose is bettter

I use some pillow style masks, but have the new FF also. When I am stuffy nosed I find it works great. It is certainly easy to get on and off with the quick release tabs. Wearing it loose is the key. Lie down relax, and then put it on. When the air fills the face chamber it will tighten to your face...

Feeling better

I guess I am doing well! Checking the outside temperature to see if I can go for a walk/jog....when it gets over 32F. That's feeling better!! Some help from all my online friends and the willingness to keep tweaking and monitoring MY OWN progress. Up bright and early today after 8+ hours again. 8 mo...

I also bought the reader and smartcard, as I have now been switched to Respironics auto. Dumb as I am I requested the fed ex delivery Live and Learn. After 1 1/2 months being monitored, "they" didn't send me another card. I am sure they just wanted to know if i was compliant. I want to know how I am...
