Re: Apria or Lincare

You started with a CPAP and then went to the BiPAP or VPAP? What made you make that change? I think more often than not, unless you have a good sleep doctor, then those people just give up and either return the device or let it sit in the closet and Medicare just keeps paying for it. That's what I'd...

Re: I just became compliant. But have a question

Absolutely, get used to it is being a great thing and you can't be too wide awake and too well slept. Sometimes I wake up at 6:30 leave the machine on put on Morning Joe and Steve for another 2 hours and I love it. Not only will you feel better when you wake up for towards the end of the day you'll ...

Re: Apria or Lincare

bwexler, I've had the AirCurve 11 for over a week now. And I got it a day after I ordered it. So they're definately being stocked in the industry. It may just be that your supplier is not as quick as others. I forgot to ask you, how do you like the Air Curve 11? Do you feel any difference from the ...

Re: Apria or Lincare

Pisco21 From which DME did you get it? Apria and Lincare doesn't have them yet. I haven't actually spoken to Lincare in about 2 weeks and my Doctor, after receiving the message from Apria that they cannot fill the order for the Air Curve 11 said they would send it to Lincare. Even though I reminded ...

Re: Apria or Lincare

It's not the Peter Principle because it starts with the doctors who don't know anything because they think they're beyond having to learn all this. My doctor's office ordered me an Air Sense 11, even though in my 21 years of using sleep apnea products I never once used a CPAP. The same doctor's offi...

Re: Resmed 11 humidity pot runs out of water

Please don't use the name resident 11 anymore because there are so many misconceptions between doctors and the people who work in the dme's and the people who work at the doctor's offices who send the information to the dmes and nobody knows what the hell's going on. If it's an ass 10 to 11 say that...

Re: Apria or Lincare

Re: Apria or Lincare

I thought I answered this three times but for some reason nothing ever went through so now I'm writing this on the Note program & I'm going to bring it over to CpapTalk and send it once it's complete. How did I get the local number for Lincare, I believe when I went there to have my new settings put...

The guy that I deal with is a very nice guy and he apologized that he didn't call me in the morning like he said he would cuz I called him at 1:00 as I hadn't heard from him and he said yeah I don't know what happened let me find out. Re: Apria or Lincare

I posted 4 Oscar pages, which was the last day of my last printout, so those were three pages and then one page was the statistics and none of them came through. I think each one was three megabytes, is that a problem for CPAP talk? Are we allowed to post results?

Re: Apria or Lincare

I'm still waiting for my air curve 11. Apria is doing something with my information. I'm on Medicare and I have pretty good secondary insurance but I think Medicare pays for the whole thing anyway. Something tells me they don't have the air curve 11 in stock even though they thought they did. I don'...

Re: Apria or Lincare

Edited Yes I think you're right it doesn't switch to an ASV or whatever. What it does do is change from a CPAP, to an S, I forgot what the S means, to a vpap. Here is the link to the review of the air curve 10 versus the air curve of 11. See the video below. https://cpapmyway.com/blog/aircurve-11-bi...

Re: Battery recommendation?

This may be apropos for BiPAP machine batteries. I have a tennis ball machine that works on a sealed 12 volt battery I assume it's DC it must be because you can't plug it in. There is one that you can but I don't have that one. Last season starting in December I had an Achilles tendon issue that tur...
