Re: Help recognizing events in Oscar?

I have been using my BIPAP for almost 2 years now but have not fully resolved my symptoms. My settings are currently 14 EPAP, 19 IPAP with a PS minimum of 4. My doctor originally titrated me to a pressure of EPAP 15 What are your symptoms? When did you decide on a lower EPAP than the doctor recomme...

Thanks for that info. I'll try bumping up the pressure.

What do you learn from the sawtooth pattern?
that you're letting your machine go down to a pressure which isn't high enough for you to stay on it for more than a very short time before your airway starts collapsing.

Re: Any tips on how to interpret this data?

You read the charts by trying to look at what they show at a certain point in time. Points that stand out: The sawtooth pattern in the flow chart The fact that when the pressure goes down to the minimum the breath flow reduces, becomes limited, and the machine immediately responds by raising the pre...

I was hoping someone who had more experience with aerophagia (air filled stomach and burping) would respond.
So I'm bumping this up.

Re: Need help with Mask AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP

I agree that this information might be useful, but this is a subject that warrants its own thread with its own subject. I think you should copy and paste it to a thread with a more informative subject. If you only keep it here, people with F30i masks - will look at what you wrote, but not necessaril...

Re: Months on CPAP and still struggling

I saw that i have a lot of leak "Spikes" , and everytime i'm not doing a full cpap night, there's a leak spike right before my arousal ( in the two previous screenshot with FFM there's a leak spike right before my awakening and removing the mask unconsciously for example), anyway a lot of my night ...

The WatchPAT home test said I was at 16 AHI. Is it possible that 7 - 8.4 cm of pressure is enough to keep OA and other events from happening which zeroes out my AHI?
Absolutely possible.

Re: Feedback on first night OSCAR data

Thank you! That's really helpful. I'm going to give those things a try (mask fitting and change EPR and minimum). I did use a microSD card with adapter since I don't have an SD card reader but do have a microSD reader. Wonder if that did it. Resmed website says it'll work but not recommended due to...

Contact F&P.
I bet the insurance company will insist on a pdf created by formal F&P software containing you machine's serial number.

Re: How to know the CPAP pressure from the APAP mode in AS10?

The answer is the pressure in the display screen, just set the full information to display when you turn on the machine, it doesn't need to go to the clinics options, if you are in doubt, read the clinicians manual. That's not the question I am asking. You said, I'm using the APAP mode and want to ...

Re: Long time CPAP user, Don't know where to go from here

When I zoom on that recent link, what stands out to me is that your breath flow often diminishes and then you take a deep(er) breath - and after that there's a series of CAs Zoom for example at 08:49 and follow the flow to 09:03. I think your breathing problems cause an arousal, and the CAs indicate...

Re: What is the best nasal CPAP mask for not leaking?

www.cpap.com who sponsor this forum have ratings next to the different masks - see if that helps you. BUT Keep in mind that your facial structure may by one in a million, and what fits the majority of people will not necessarily fit you. You may be lucky and hit gold on the first mask you try. You ...
