Re: Setting the Correct Time

I don't like messing with the clock twice a year because a while back I really screwed up the calendar when doing a time change and put the date forward and couldn't change it back without erasing old data. So now I just change the way OSCAR reports the time with the clock drift feature in OSCAR tw...

Question: does the machine change for daylight savings? I have it set on airplane mode.
Mine's on airplane mode, I change the time manually.

I have used Cpap for 4 years now and had been using the F & P Eson 2 nasal mask with much success. A couple months ago I started getting redness under my nose
Show it to dermatologist (skin doctor).
You've been self diagnosing and self treating for long enough.

Re: Machine Clicking Noise

This comment is for anyone else who might wonder about this issue: I was highly annoyed by exhale inhale noise from my machine. Eventually I discovered it was from the humidifier -- even from a new one. Things to try: Carefully re-seat the gasket in the lid. After closing, the lid, I push on the bac...

Re: Just started CPAP, and my AHI has skyrocketed, advice?

You can discount all the CA's that recorded while you're tossing and turning - they are a misinterpretation of how you breathe while you're awake, and the machine has no idea if you're awake or asleep. Your watchpat data records a Respiratory Disturbance index of 21.7 - adding that to your Apnea Hyp...

Re: Help recognizing events in Oscar?

I have been using my BIPAP for almost 2 years now but have not fully resolved my symptoms. My settings are currently 14 EPAP, 19 IPAP with a PS minimum of 4. My doctor originally titrated me to a pressure of EPAP 15 What are your symptoms? When did you decide on a lower EPAP than the doctor recomme...

Thanks for that info. I'll try bumping up the pressure.

What do you learn from the sawtooth pattern?
that you're letting your machine go down to a pressure which isn't high enough for you to stay on it for more than a very short time before your airway starts collapsing.

Re: Any tips on how to interpret this data?

You read the charts by trying to look at what they show at a certain point in time. Points that stand out: The sawtooth pattern in the flow chart The fact that when the pressure goes down to the minimum the breath flow reduces, becomes limited, and the machine immediately responds by raising the pre...

I was hoping someone who had more experience with aerophagia (air filled stomach and burping) would respond.
So I'm bumping this up.

Re: Need help with Mask AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP

I agree that this information might be useful, but this is a subject that warrants its own thread with its own subject. I think you should copy and paste it to a thread with a more informative subject. If you only keep it here, people with F30i masks - will look at what you wrote, but not necessaril...

Re: Months on CPAP and still struggling

I saw that i have a lot of leak "Spikes" , and everytime i'm not doing a full cpap night, there's a leak spike right before my arousal ( in the two previous screenshot with FFM there's a leak spike right before my awakening and removing the mask unconsciously for example), anyway a lot of my night ...

The WatchPAT home test said I was at 16 AHI. Is it possible that 7 - 8.4 cm of pressure is enough to keep OA and other events from happening which zeroes out my AHI?
Absolutely possible.
