Feel like I had an ok sleep, work breakfast radio and go to bed very early 7:30pm and wake up 2-3am, always struggle late afternoon with tiredness, since I started therapy I have this thing where I'll randomly wake up usually after 2-3 hours then sleep till around 2-3am. Central Apnea Clusters
Hey gang, been on CPAP for nearly a year, having trouble getting ahi under 5 mark. Sleep study had my AHI at around 35 with both OSA and CSA events. Currently 80% of events are CSA fixed pressure is 14 with epr on 2 with ramp pressure of 8. Always seem to get clusters of 4-5 Apneas after relatively ...

Re: Central Apneas
Cheers for all the help mate
also I think I've been guilty of watching way too many YouTube videos on what to do and why you should change this, mostly LankyLefty27 and CPAP Reviews.

Re: Central Apneas
I take Ritalin for AD/HD doctor says that shouldn't effect things, as for awakenings usually just once to go to the toilet, then straight back to bed, last night was an ok sleep on just 5cm of pressure, however felt a little bit tired this morning, got around 6h30 sleep. Have trained myself to sleep...

Re: Central Apneas
Have been on CPAP for around 8 months, just don't know what to do regarding pressures, lowered it right down to 5 last night and ahi was only 3.3 but feel very tired 😴 was originally on an auto range of 4-20 but have changed and tweaked more times than I can count, however when I went to a static 11...

Central Apneas
Hey peeps, anyone had any luck reducing Central or CA events? I heard a higher pressure can make the problem worse. Have been hovering around the 6-7 ahi mark of late with them and not sure how low I should dial down pressure if at all. Also if someone could take a look at my CA events and tell me i...

Mouth Taping
Howdy legends, going to give mouth taping a crack tonight as I keep waking with a dry mouth. In regards to ahi has anyone found taping to be beneficial in lowering it? Will be taping with a Airtouch F20 mask as it's the only ones I have, will pressure remain the same or will that also need to be low...

Re: Low Pressure
Yeah I've found I can lower my pressure drastically if I'm on my side, when I studied my data, my high pressure of around 11 was causing a whole bunch on central apnoea's. Even the centrals I get now appear to be after an arousal as breathing is looking much more consistent.

Low Pressure
Has anyone found great results with low pressure and positional therapy? My sleep specialist wanted me on a static pressure of 11, did that ahi was at 11 constantly. Now I've dropped it right back to 7 and am having nights ranging from 1.5 - 5 ahi. Almost completely eliminated OSA events and my cent...

V-Com, Sleep Numbers & Mouth Leak..
Hey Peoples 👍just after some opinions on the V-Com, is it really as good as people say? Also struggling with a really dry mouth, leak rate is always very good but I think I tend to sleep with mouth open. Currently using a full face mask and toying with the idea of mouth tape, cervical collar or chin...

Re: Real Centrals or not?
Amazing information once again 👌have attached last night's numbers, have been hovering around the 5-6 ahi mark the last 7 days. Still learning my way through understanding the charts and what to change, my breathing seems to be normal until random CA's which up the pressure and then I seem to have m...
