Re: Any feedback on adjustments would be awesome
Like Pugsy and ChicagoGranny, I don't see anything in this report that points to the need to change the settings. I will point out that you have some long-lasting low-level leaks. The leaks are no where near official large leak territory and so they're not affecting the efficacy of your CPAP therapy...

Re: Constant Arousals - ASV Troubleshooting
Due to my CA events, he recommended an ASV, which I have now been on for a little over 2 years. You posted one night of data from 2023. Here's a marked up version of that night's data: https://i.imgur.com/g9k9EYh.png It looks to me like all or most of the CAs in the red rectangles were more than li...

Re: Certified home sleep test kit that doesn't have nasal canola?
Can you help me find a good home sleep study kit (preferably inexpensive, since my insurance will only pay 80%). It must NOT use a nasal mask or canola. It must include breathing measurements (e.g., chest movement, including something like a chest strap to hold it in place), and possibly a pulse ox...

Re: MAD oral appliance effective alternative to CPAP?
Thank you. I have made an appointment with a Dentist who is board certified in dental sleep medicine, an expert on sleep breathing disorders, and understands the relationship to TMJ. MY big concern is the MAD device and treatment, and if CPAP is working with me and I have 100 percent compliance and...

Re: Aerophagia Help Needed: BiPAP at Very High Pressure (24 I / 17 E)
My first thought though.....try to fix the aerophagia problem if at all possible because if it isn't fixed the machine is going to end up in the closet. May have to consider some compromising but the aerophagia monster has to be evicted. My thoughts exactly: Painful aerophagia of the sort that the ...

Re: Aerophagia Help Needed: BiPAP at Very High Pressure (24 I / 17 E)
Unfortunate the damn ST machine can't/won't tell us if someone is having a central apnea or obstructive apnea. Not in any mode. Both those go into the UA or unknown/unclassified apnea basket. There is no FOT available on the ST (or even ASV) models. Thanks for reminding me of that fact. I really th...

Re: Less than 0.5 events per hour after a year+ but still exhausted
Adding to Pugsy's very important questions: 1) How much time do you actually spend in bed? How much of that time is spent trying unsuccessfully to get to sleep or to get back to sleep? 2) Do you have a regular wake-up time for the work week? Do you try to get up at the same time on weekends? 3) Do y...

Re: Aerophagia Help Needed: BiPAP at Very High Pressure (24 I / 17 E)
As someone who fought the aerophagaia monster for months (at even low pressures) when I was first starting out, I want to second everything that Pugsy has said. It's critically important for you to report (and keep reporting) the aerophagia problem to the sleep doc. Don't let them brush it off as "y...

Re: Bilevel user- sleepy, tired, bad memory
zzz7, I've spent quite a bit of time tonight looking at your data between March 24 and April 6. (This was available via the SleepyHQ link you posted.). But before getting to your data, I want to remind you of what you've written about the subjective quality of your sleep: yes, sometimes need to work...

Re: Mask Leaking Only at High Pressure? Help!
Thank you for your comprehensive reply! Much appreciated. I'm wondering what your thoughts are on nasal pillows? I heard those are better with leaks, given there is a smaller surface area? I also wanted to ask if you would interested in viewing my OSCAR report sometime once I have more reliable dat...

Re: Bilevel user- sleepy, tired, bad memory
Things are kind of busy at work right now. If I get a chance, I'll try to scroll through the data on the link a bit later today. But I still think the answer to your problem is not going to be dial winging: Your obstructive sleep apnea is well treated. And that means your on-going problems are likel...

Re: Mask Leaking Only at High Pressure? Help!
I go to bed with a great seal, however I am waking up with air constantly blowing around my mouth. It's not a huge leak, but the cool air is enough to wake me up. I can tell the pressure is much higher, cause of the amount of air coming in my mask, as well as how much more it inflates the silicone ...

Re: Sleep Doc Office Can't read SD card ????
Wonder if the sleep doc's office is just being cautious about malware/viruses that possibly could be on an SD card that someone would bring in, particularly if the doc's office is networked into the hospitals system. Doc's office would likely use their own SD card that they know is clean to extract...

Re: Bilevel user- sleepy, tired, bad memory
can anyone comment on my graphs? is there any adjustments I can try? The problem is that your data shows excellent treatment at all three settings---if these nights are typical for you. Heck, there's not even that much obvious evidence of the extra spikiness we associate with lots of restlessness a...
