Re: Air Mini: can I bypass the humid x system entirely?
Hi marypr2, I use the AirMini without the humidx and use the Snugell air mini adapter for the mask. There are two options for adapters; one to adapt the airmini to the standard CPAP hose (and therefore mask), and another to adapt the AirMini hose to a standard CPAP mask. I use the latter as I really...

Re: Purchasing New Machine
I bought my AirCurve 11 and an F40 mask from them with no troubles whatsoever. They resell name-brand merchandise, so I doubt if there's an issue with the product. The customer service may be another story, but I've never had to use them. They seem to be a "stack 'em high sell 'em cheap" kind of res...

Re: About to give up on the AirMini (noise) - any last tips?
Schnoozer, not sure if this is happening with you, but this happens to me with my AirMini. The hose is so light that if there's any slack in it, it will lay and drape across your face, and may end near your ear. I have found that by moving the hose away from me the mask noise decreases as it seems t...

Re: 4 month trip to europe next year, looking at travel machines
I use the AirMini when I travel; though I don't usually travel 4 months in a row! I use the Airmini hardcase (small) and an electronics organizer to carry everything else (mask, hose, usb stuff to recharge etc...). I use the F&P Evora FFM, so i bought a Snuggell adaptor on Amazon. It works great. It...

Re: Airsense 11 leaking air from around humidifier chamber
Yes, the humidifier can sometimes be quirky in fitting on the AS/AC 11. I've developed a technique of closing the chamber completely, then angling it downward when inserting into the machine. By angling downward, it seems to make sure that the connection is tight. I've had many times where it didn't...

Re: ResMed Airsense 11 Travel Case Question
I don't know the size of the ipad, so I can't comment on that, but I just returned from my sleep doctor's appointment, and had my case out. It measures about 9 inches wide closed by a zipper and about 7 inches deep.
Hope that helps.

Re: Apria or Lincare
I bought it from sleeplay, and not on insurance. I had the AirCurve10 that I had bought used, and wanted to get an updated machine that could send data to Resmed for my Doctor to review. I apparently have one of the few sleep doctors that actually look at the data from resmed. There's not a lot of d...

bwexler, I've had the AirCurve 11 for over a week now. And I got it a day after I ordered it. So they're definately being stocked in the industry. It may just be that your supplier is not as quick as others.

Re: Upgrading The Defunct Resmed 2G/3G Modems
Can you post additional insight as to how you did the upgrade? In previous discussions, it seemed as though just changing the boards wouldn't work, as firmware needed to be upgraded as well. It sounded problematic, however you make it sound relatively easy. It would be great to hear your experience!

Re: Question about my humidifier Air Sense 11. Rusty?
Drareg65, I don't know what it is, but I assumed it was some type of mold. My wife's AS11 humidifier had a recurring case of that; for some reason, mine never did. After cleaning it multiple times, and disinfecting it trying to get rid of it, I finally just replaced the hose and the humidifier. She ...

Re: How to run a ResMed AirMini on a USB power bank
psteckler, what is the output wattage of your anker battery? I seem to recall some discussions on SleepHQ about the device that it needed 65 watts of power to work properly. When I put a USB-C ammeter on the cable, it was running about 20v and a little more than 3 amps. Although that's for the AS11,...

Re: After 6 years of APAP, any ways to improve quality of life?
I'm not an expert on interpreting the charts, however your charts look very similar to mine. Flow limitations occur, with the expected reaction of pressure increase, but usually ends up in a hypopnea or apnea. I just met with my sleep doctor, and she increased my min pressure to just under the 95% l...

Re: How to run a ResMed AirMini on a USB power bank
psteckler, please do report back on results. I also bought a USB-C ammeter to measure the power usage of the AirMini and AirSense 11 (since the last post, my home machine now runs on the AS11 version of the 914gadgets device). I haven't done any of the math behind the numbers, but it definately seem...
