Re: AirSense 11 and Flow Limits
My “fix” for flow limits is to try to fix what may be limiting my anatomical flow. I have seen MY FL rise when I have a stuffy nose. I use a menthol inhaler called Olbas and make sure the humidity is up on the machine. Between the two it is like stepping into a hot shower and opens up the nasal pass...

Re: EVIDENCE OF AIRFIT P10 VENT OBSTRUCTION CAUSING HYPERCAPNIA (also N30?)
I wash/toothbrush scrub my mask every week. The vent mesh will get restricted somewhat in time. (my experience comparing a several month used one with a new one held up to a bright light) Get a water pic, wash as usual, then blast it with the water pic. Good as new. My personal experience. No need ...

Re: Senator Calls for DOJ Action Against Philips for Keeping CPAP Machine Complaints Secret
Since this is a call on DOJ (not congress), it could happen despite congressional disarray. In any case, I can't see Philips surviving long-term as a supplier of medical devices after this debacle. https://www.propublica.org/article/blumenthal-justice-department-action-against-philips Good for Blum...

Re: Newbie Desperate for Help
So, I started off last night with an AirTouch F20 medium, and soon after falling asleep, I began breathing entirely through my mouth and having a ton of centrals. I switched to the p30i around midnight and slept well (for me at the moment) until 0430. I fell back asleep and dozed off and on until m...

Re: AirSense 11 doesn't record to SD card once in a while
There was actually NO data on the SD card for the dates in question. The card was not locked. Actually something DID get written to the card: the directory entry for the day(s) on which the data was missing. The machine was definitely on! I used it all night on those nights, and the very high level...

Tremor--shremor! I have had essential tremor in my hands for over 50 years. Resting my hand on something when I need to be steady is a lifelong habit. It is never a problem. An essential tremor is different than an intention tremor. It was a reasonable question. https://calahealth.com/tremor-resour...

Re: DreamStation CPAP Pro with Auto-Trial IAH
My personal experience is that my flow limits are up when I am congested. I use an Olbas(menthol inhaler) and plenty of humidity. It’s like stepping into the hot shower and sinuses open up. Once opened I turn on the pap and usually good to go most of the night. Perhaps adding in humidity might balan...

Actually, I will not debate size because clearly, size matters here. :::innocent whistle::: I find the AS11 a bit awkward when that baby is full but I must ask if your bedside table and the machine are level? My bedside table sits on a rug with a few degrees difference from left to right and when I ...
