Do you have an online filter? Ik it's annoying but make sure you wash/ clean everything daily since your susceptible.( Including tubing at least 1x/wk!)good luck

I've done this without any issue. But Might be a good idea to keep a spare elbow& tubing as backup just to keep your mind at ease

Of course itll still work. Just clean/dry thoroughly & put in a container or bag for protection. Store inside (like, not in your shed) out of direct sunlight. Itll be fine& wont get discolored if you store it correctly
