Re: One week on CPAP, would appreciate some input regarding my stats

In re: above waveforms, although one can not be really sure if you're asleep, what sleep stage you're in, or what body position, IMO those look like 4 (and perhaps 5) RERAs going to arousal despite 15 cmH2O pressure.

I've seen an ENT in the past, was told I had intrinsic rhinitis. They never gave me anything as they said it was allergic and so there was no point in antihistamine/allergy meds???
Either what they're saying, or what you're hearing, is wrong.

I thought that normal flow is supposed to look like a rounded hill.
Depends if it's a "you" breath or a "machine" breath.

Also what do you have for sleep studies?

Why did you opt to get evaluated in the first place?

Re: Events per hour has increased

Have you talked to your doctor about the PLMD results? If not...you need to because those leg movements could be a factor in your crappy sleep quality. IMO that would depend upon the doctor. I'd say the jury's still out on Yaroslav, and if the General Practice guy gets the Deer/Headlights Look when...

I had some thoughts about this, but on reflection I think the prior question is whose requirement you're needing to meet.

Re: Events per hour has increased

I refuse to do them when data is available for verification. Some additional info might also prove helpful-- neck size, height/weight, rest of sleep study info (especially sleep stage and position dependency), and if you want to get fancy, get a cheap pulse oximeter and software (EVERYBODY has one)...
