3rd night 4 hours of sleep

Post by mabzmuzik » Thu Sep 12, 2013 8:35 am

I was able to make it 4 hours. I remember taking mask off at 6:00am but I was up at 6:50am. I will be taping to my cheeks as was suggested tonight. No headache today. Blood Pressure is 115/64 before taking my Blood Pressure meds this morning. I am aiming for 6 to 8 hours of CPAP

Yeay Mabsmuzic!!!! You will get there. One day at a time!! You really should think about sleeping longer though. There is so much data out there now that says adults need 8 hours of sleep everynight to be fully rested But you are definitely settling in quickly to this crazy routine. Good for you!

Yeah Mabsmuzic, I hear you. It frustrating to have to deal with taping things down, adjustments of pressure and learning a bunch of new stuff every time you log on. Everybody else went thru this (and I still do) but you have to ask yourself: What is the alternative? Keep plugging away and remember to ask specific questions like why is my mask leaking; what's the deal with melatonin; what do I do about aerophagia (just examples). You'll get there in the end, just keep coming to CPAPtalk and asking questions, the more specific the better and remember to put the question's main topic in the subject line. That way the other members and experts can zero in on you.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
