Newbie with questions about AHI

Hello all. I'm on my 5th day on an APAP and dropped my AHI from 44 at the sleep study to about 10. In the study I dropped to 0 at 12cm but I can't seem to come close to this so far at home and don't know why.

You show software in your profile, can you post some detail reports?

Welcome, Arzona Scott.

I see you have a data capable machine and the software for it. If you could post your reports, it might help forum members see what's going on with your sleep.

I'm a newbie and my numbers during the titration study were lower than on my machine, too. Part of that was that I didn't sleep very long and seem to have the most disrupted sleep toward the end of the night, so I don't think the titration study really captured the worst of the situation.

With the great advice of some of the members here, I'm beginning to figure out why and what I can do to lower it. I have only a limited understanding of the nightly graphs from my software, but I'm beginning to catch on.

Are you using the same mask that you used for your sleep study? If you aren't wearing a full face mask, you might be mouth leaking/breathing and losing therapy.
