Respironics System 1 Resistance with Mirage Quattro mask

Post by ASF » Thu Jul 31, 2014 11:32 pm

I use a PR System One REMStar 60 Series Auto CPAP Machine and I also use a Mirage Quattro Full Face mask.

On the APAP, there is a setting for System 1 resistance but I don't know what to set that to for this ResMed mask.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

The manual suggest to set it to zero or disabled for non-Respironics masks.

It really doesn't make a difference for full face masks anyway because they have very little flow rate resistance. The setting is more useful for petite sized pillows and such.

The resistance setting for all of the Respironics full face masks is X1. I would set it to X1 or go into the clinician's menu and turn it off.

The Mirage Quattro is not a Respironics mask, it is manufactured by ResMed so that would make a difference, wouldn't it ?

Thanks.
