Re: Unconventional cpap compliance problem
It was a long time in coming. I had an extensive infection discovered while at my annual dentist visit. Long story, but pulling the molar was the best choice.

Re: Mouth Taping
I've eliminated the need for tape completely, and after using this technique consistently scored 100% on mouth leak (the higher the percentage, the less the problem) by...using an adult sized pacifier and chin strap while attached to a nasal pillow.

Re: Unconventional cpap compliance problem
Yes, I realized that but I'm guessing that either by search or if the posts are upped to the front when answered, those who are trying to find an answer to this rare question can now do so. DaisySmith The point here is that you are responding to a two-year old post. The OP left and hasn't been seen ...

Re: Unconventional cpap compliance problem
Yes, it does. I can't see anywhere else it could go, frankly. Interestingly, I had a molar pulled and my leakage score went down from 20 (perfect score) to 13, where it was prior to the use of a pacifier. In fact, I just had a molar pulled (first tooth pulled in my life) and decided not to sleep with the pacifier as any kind of sucking can dislodge the blood c...

Yes, but those who find this post (and it's quite rare though I don't believe the issue is) may find it helpful.

Re: Unconventional cpap compliance problem
Last night I used an adult sized pacifier and it worked like a charm! I woke, 7 hours later, and it was still there, firmly planted in my mouth and the data emailed to me showed excellent results. It fit perfectly and all I did was keep my hand close to my mouth, sometimes touching the outside of th...
