F&P Eson and Simplus frames. Are they the same?

I'm wanting to know if I can put a Simplus cushion on the same frame as the ESON. Are there any other issues ?

I thought the Simplus was a full face mask.
That would make it quite a bit different.

Are you asking if the full face mask and the nasal mask have the same hardware?

Yes. They use same headgear and front plastic part (frame that cushion snaps in to) is what I'm asking about.

They don't use the same headgear; the clips on the Eson are thinner than the Simplus. The hole for the mask is also smaller on the Eson than the Simpus. The cushions will not interchange. The clips are different for the Eson and the Simplus headgear; the Eson headgear may work on the Simplus; but the Simplus headgear won't work on the Eson without modifying.

I do have both masks.

This might be too late for you, but someone else might have the same problem.
I had the Eson mask, and its headgear had too much use, and I bought the Simplus headgear by mistake, without realizing they were different.
The Simplus headgear comes with clips that are too big for the Eson cushion-holder-frame. However, I was able to use the Simplus headgear by changing the clips. The Eson clips are a bit small for the Simplus headgear, but with a bit of effort (not much) I was able to put the Eson clips on the Simplus headgear. With this, I could use the Simplus cushion with the Eson headgear without any inconvenient.

In other words, if you have the Eson mask, and want to replace the headgear, you can but the Simplus headgear.
