mask rec for newbie with overbite ?

Post by t ausland » Sun Jul 27, 2014 11:57 am

Greetings. I'm a new user having pretty encouraging initial results (despite history of bad insomnia which required DIY approach including home sleep test) -- good news for me.

But I get a lot of mask-leakage around my jaw. Mask is large Quatto Air. Thinking of ordering a medium, but I have to be careful: everything is out-of-pocket for me. Does anybody know of a mask that happens to work well for someone with an overbite?

Thanks for reading --

My overbite was "corrected" by orthodontics, but without changing my small chin, and here is my experience:
A nasal pillow is the best choice; but if you cannot use that, many nasal cushion masks are out there, one may work for your face.
As for a full face mask, I used the Comfortgel full face (now "blue") by Respironics-
-the thick gel cushion allows variation in facial anatomy.
If I were looking for another full face mask, I would try the Anew cloth mask by SleepWeaver.
