Blown Away
Blown Away
I went to use my Resmed after 3 days off and it is scaling to level 12 and blowing me away. Can anyone tell me how to adjust it. It has never done this before.
Re: Blown Away
Which ResMed machine?

Re: Blown Away
If it's Escape, Elite, Autoset or Escape Auto, you can look at the video tutorial I've linked to in my signature box. If you have an S9 VPAP you may still get an idea from the video tutorial, but we can also help you find the clinician manual for it.
The model name is right by the Start/Stop button.

Re: Blown Away
it says nothing but ResMed on the front, top. Instruction booklet references the H5i humudifier and Autoset, Elite, Escape, Escape Auto?????
Re: Blown Away
What does it say right over the Start/Stop button on your machine, like where it says "Autoset" in this example?

Re: Blown Away
find the label with the serial number, look for a REF or MODEL number. (REF unless it's quite old)ksneil wrote:it says nothing but ResMed on the front, top. Instruction booklet references the H5i humudifier and Autoset, Elite, Escape, Escape Auto?????
tell us what it is.

Re: Blown Away
OP just needs to look at the Start/Stop button on his S9.

Re: Blown Away
thank you, you do it your way, I'll do it mine they already didn't get the model with your original instructions, I thought I'd try an alternate route.kaiasgram wrote:OP just needs to look at the Start/Stop button on his S9.
they just *might* have one of the 11 other models, though I'll admit, it's unlikely.
also, there's at least two now that have the same name, yet are different, though they are advanced models.

Re: Blown Away
so i guess it is an Escape. I will check out the tutorial as soon as I get back from walking the dogs. I REALLY appreciate the help. Could be a divorce in the offing if I dont get it together on this thing.

Re: Blown Away
Thanks to all for your help. Pale Rider are you telling me that newer models provide the user with the capability to adjust the air pressure? My machine is a few years old and just started blowing at a 12. Ant idea what might have caused this? Adding to the confusion re my script and replacement/repair is my supplier Peachtree Pharmacy is recently out of business, my insurance has changed, Unsure what's next.

Re: Blown Away
All machines can be adjusted, autos can adjust themselves even more.
If there is a modem on it, that can do it too.
All directions are different, hence the need to know what machine you have.
With luck, maybe we can figure out what happened.
And what to do next.
