Re: Quattro FX headgear
I have both medium and large headgear for the Quattro FX but both are used. I doubt that measurements from these would tell you much due to stretching that occurs with usage. If you want pics or my observations let me know. Yes, I would very much appreciate a measurement of the top strap for each. ...

Re: Quattro FX headgear
Hey I recently got my first FF mask for when I'm totally congested but the headgear doesn't seem to be large enough. I have a big head I guess... haha is there a different headgear set I can get? I have a large too. The top straps seem to be too short and the hole on top doesn't seem to be large en...

Re: Relationship between large leaks and recorded AHI?
I'm averaging ~4.5 hours of therapy per night (I don't sleep enough, a lifelong curse) and for the last four nights here are the numbers for large leaks and AHI: Night 1 LL 82% AHI 10.2 Night 2 LL 31% AHI 4.2 Night 3 LL 83% AHI 4.2 Night 4 LL 30% AHI 5.2 Can you tell us exactly where you are gettin...

Relationship between large leaks and recorded AHI?
I'm trying to figure out what has gone wrong with my therapy and I'm a little panicky. I was diagnosed back in April with an AHI of 131 (not a typo!) and immediately began therapy. At my 60 day out doc visit I was down to 1.7, and by the time my DME stopped monitoring at 90 days I was at 2.1. Everyb...

Re: new mask resmed Quattro air
I loved that mask and the simplicity of it, the light weight, everything. Well, almost everything. After about an hour or maybe less my lower lip just slides out of the bottom of the mask with predictable results! Nothing I can do to stop it. I have a large noggin, so I thought maybe the crown strap...

Re: New guy says hello
Pugsy, I suspect old dude has the same problem I do.... A large noggin I had the upper mask straps as loose as the velcro ends allowed but the middle strap running over the top of your head (from ear to ear) in too short with the packaged medium size headgear. Being so short it pulls the mask up yo...

Re: Mirage Quattro Air update
I have the strangest problem with the Quattro Air, and I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. After a time of usage of an hour or so, my lower lip comes out of the mask completely. This of course exposes my mouth with predictable results. Even though I have a big head and face, I think the ma...

Re: Respironics Confusing names---UPDATED guide for Newbies
"The problem, of course, is that Respironics has christened every one of their CPAP machines with the name REMStar since way back when in the dark ages of CPAP. And it doesn't help that the current machines doesn't actually have its full name on the CPAP machine itself---the "System One" part of the...

Welcome to the forum. Sure it's okay if you want to visit at the other forum(s)...we don't care. I think a lot of the members here also visit the other forum and some of them by the same name. What troubles are you having with your mask? Maybe someone here has had the same problem and could offer s...

New guy says hello
Hi folks, I just signed up and wanted to say hello. I was officially DX'd in April with an AHI of 131, discovered after an episode of Atrial Flutter that required a cardioversion. I had probably had OSA for 30+ years but thought I was cheating it by side sleeping. At my June sleep doc visit my AHI w...
