Re: Have you ever forgot to use your CPAP machine?

Never forgot. In fact I go into a bit of a panic if there is a power outage, or anything that prevents me from masking up and pushing air.

Re: OT...2.5 million job losses is a GOOD thing?

Dontcha know? Everyone is a "Free Agent" now lol. You dont have to be "locked" into a job that you like and with medical coverage that you could afford!! Well, at least until you get the letter from your insurer or your employer telling you you cant keep your plan after all, because it doenst meet o...

OT: New Sleep Number Adjustable Frame Quits

Hi everybody, Can't sleep, so thought I would post this, and see if anyone else has had any experience with these? About six months ago, I bought a queen size sleep number matress with an adjustable bed frame. The frame would raise your legs or your head, or both if you wanted it to. I had six vertb...

Re: Question about mattress and OSA

I bought a sleep number mattress with an adjustable bed frame, where I can raise my back, or my legs, or both just like a hospital bed. With having the adjustable firmness of the mattress, and the adjustable frame, I've never slept better.

Re: Train accident

Yea, maybe he'd been fired for it, but if I was on that train, I'd rather he take the firing rather than the controls. A real man would have done whatever it took to make sure they didn't cause an accident like that. Too many pansy assed pussies around. Just sayin' islandboy5150, It is great to tal...

Re: Train accident

Toadzo, none of anything you said means diddly squat. It's all a bunch of crap. The train operator had sole reasonsibility to stay awake and pay attention to his job. If that wasn't possible for him, he should not have gotten behind the controls of that train. But, he did. He was irresponsible, and ...

Re: Train accident

Regardless of if he had OSA, or if his doctor misdiagnosed it, or missed it, or even if the operator was successful and compliant and an active participant in monitoring his therapy, used a smart machine and sleepyhead, it doesn't matter one bit. Not one tiny bit. It was still his responsibility to ...

Re: H5i Humdifier Issue

Never had that issue, but good to know. I use filtered water, not distilled, and when a I get a mineral build up on the bottom of the tank, I use Kaboom and it cleanes it like new. It's all natural, no foul odor, not an irritant, and works great. A few squirts, and light rubbing with my fingers and ...

Re: OT: Kitties helping put up the Christmas Tree

My youngest one, Geordi, the mischief maker loves to lay on the skirt as far under the tree as possible. Wesley, the older one, on the other hand will lay down just off the skirt. For some reason he doesn't like the material I guess. Caught Geordi licking the tree trunk earlier. Little monster, he w...

Re: Buying a mask for my beard

I used a fleece mask liner and cinched the mask down tight. That stopped all my leaks when I had a nice duckman going on. I had to sweet talk Karen into making it special for me though. It's a bit on the warm side, but I hot used to that pretty quick.

OT: Kitties helping put up the Christmas Tree

They love to help put up the tree, and climb the tree, and eat it, and sniff it, and lay underneath it, and especially they like the treats they found under it! Re: Dr. says I'm not tolerating CPAP

I found my nasal block wasn't a typical sinus allergy, but they were swelling shut for no apparent reason. I started taking Advil congestion relief about an hour before bedtime and my nasal passages and sinuses opened up wide and dry, with no side effects. Maybe worth a try?

Re: OT: Kitty Voyerism

The third one gives me the creeps. I am afraid of heights and I would be plastered to the wall on that balcony waiting for it to fall off and having to run downstairs to scrape it off the sidewalk. I used to catch our little one perched on the bannister about 20 feet up from the tile floor of the f...
