CPAP + Five Years = ?????

Post by ThomasMcKean » Mon Jul 21, 2014 5:11 pm

I remember something (I think?) about insurance covering a new machine every five years?

How does that work? Do I visit the DME?

I have not been on here for a while. But I suppose that is a good thing. It means no problems.

I have noticed that even a few pounds of weight can make a huge difference. As long as I stay in the 160's, I have great numbers!

You will need to check with the supplement. They may have any number of conditions, such as which DMEs are in network or have the Medicare contract in your area. You will need very specific knowledge available only from the folks paying the bill.
Unfortunately if you call 3 time you may get 4 different answers, so ask for the answer in writing before you commit to any expenditure.
