Ok, so I'm looking for my next mask to try, and am looking at the TapPap:
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/tap-pa ... roved.html
I do apparently grind my teeth and my dentist has fitted me with an occlusion guard (which I have been slowly chewing down. ) so I am used to having a mouth piece.
My question for those that have the Tap Pap is how well does the mouth piece stand up to teeth grinding? Will I chew through it fairly quickly, or will it likely hold up over time?
Thanks,
Craig

Re: Tap Pap and Grinding
Hi Craig,
I really like this mask.
I don't go through my TAP PAP mouth pieces quickly. I didn't have to use anything before getting the mask though, even though I suspect I did some clenching at least. My lower incisors can put divots in the plastic, but I wouldn't expect to ever get through it. I'd say give it a try, you can order just the mouth piece if you find you are going through it.

Thanks Sleepy!
I believe I will put this mask on the top of my list to ask the DME about. I typically purchase straight from cpap.com, but I am actually going to hit my deductible this year and figured it was a good time to get a new machine, mask, and all the fixins' through insurance. (Of course I'll check to make sure my out of pocket isn't absurd.)
Here is hoping the DME can / will get the Tap Pap.

Well... Met the DME today, and I went for it!
I'll probably regret posting this, but I figure I should post a picture of me wearing my new little strapless thing. (yeah, that would probably sound better if I were female)
Ok, second attempt at a caption...
"Look Ma, no headgear!"
Seriously... if you can't laugh at stuff like this, you'll never survive this medieval therapy.
Wish me luck! New machine, new mask, Tonight's going to be interesting.
