S9 AUTO SET DATA INFORMATION HELP

Post by tiredmemo » Sat Jul 19, 2014 5:40 pm

Hi a newbie here. Was seeing all the data information listed. How do I know if my machine will do this? I do have a SD card. I bought if off insurance and was told by my provider that this is what the Dr ordered. I have been on it for 3 weeks now and am still not feeling well. I was told I have OSA in the moderate range. I have still not gone to the follow up ( 2 weeks from now). I have pressure @ 6 -11. Started feeling better the 1st week but am still sleepy during the day and getting up several times a night. Still waking up with headaches and congested too. I have tried to set the humidifier both higher and lower and still congested. I am on my 2nd mask since the 1st one made me feel like I could not get air in. The 2nd mask is better but now I am removing it at night. Any help would be nice from all you experienced folks. Not happy about this diagnosis at all. My Reflux Dr is who sent me for the sleep study with my lung Dr. I really thought I didn't have this. Kind of hard to know that I will need this CPap machine for the rest of my life. LOL My mask is a swift nano for her and the machine is a auto set s9 with a H5i heated humidifier. Thanks again for the help.

The S9 AutoSet is a full efficacy data machine so you can use either SleepyHead or ResScan or even both if you wish to monitor your therapy.
Check out the links in my signature line for where to get SleepyHead...checkout the link to RobySue's instructions on how to install and use.
If you want ResScan send me a private message. If you have a Mac...ResScan is Windows only software but SleepyHead has a Mac version.

I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

If you want to try the Eclipse mask and want a special promo code to get a little off the price...send me a private message.

Thanks. Which one would you suggest I use? Are they free?

They are both free.
I usually suggest people try both and see which one they like the best. There's no reason why a person can't use both. I use both.
Now if you don't have Windows computer and only have a Mac then you pretty much have to use SleepyHead unless you want to put Windows on the Mac.

Which one do I prefer? SleepyHead because for me it runs circles around ResScan in terms of speed and ease of use. SleepyHead is still Beta software though and not without a few little bugs but they are minor IMHO and the extra speed and ease of use more than make up for the little bugs. Besides, I have found that ResScan isn't always perfect either.

For an older version but the reports themselves haven't really changed over the years.
