Power Supply Aiomed Everest 2 or 3

Post by Brian » Tue Jul 15, 2014 10:08 am

I've seen several requests lately on this and other CPAP forums asking where one can buy a replacement.
As these machines are discontinued and even the company gone out of business, searching the company fielded no results.
This is my travel machine (I travel about 100 nights per year) and is one of the rare machines that ever had a battery pack available.
I use it in hotels and also camp several weeks per year from my motorcycle.

Googling the part number, I found a company that can provide them.

They are available from a surplus electronics supply company. Apparently they bought them as surplus when Aiomed went out of business.
Their website reports having ~1200 on hand at $3.95 each. They are the genuine deal, same part number and Aiomed logo.

I ordered two and with priority shipping came to less than $19.00.

Additionally the battery pack can be rebuilt by a battery store such as Batteries+ . I'm down to about 9 hours total on my battery pack and have been looking into having it rebuilt.
I'm just a Regular Joe trying to make it in a big, bad, unfair world armed with nothing more than a fistful of unsubstantiated facts, a somewhat weak grasp of the English language, misplaced vengeance issues and some tired conspiracy theories.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I haven't been on cpaptalk for several years, because I have everything under control, but last night my power was off and I pulled out my Everest machine and the battery was dead, so no help. That's why I bought it! I just today found out that the company went out of business, so PO'd after what I paid for that machine out of pocket, and probably used it a total of 3 times. Anyway, I came here because this site has always been helpful when I started my cpap journey, and found your information! I am so thankful that I didn't have to pay a lot for a replacement battery. Once again, I can't thank you enough for your valuable information!
