Sores from mask

Post by mpate2808@gmail.com » Sat Apr 19, 2014 9:58 am

I have been using a full mask CPAP for about five months. I have tried three different masks. The mask gouges grooves into my face. The bridge of my nose is so sore I can hardly wear my glasses. The soft silicone makes my skin itch and burn. I have returned to the sleep clinic four times for help. I don't think they take me seriously. Every time I go I have to show up on the day before my apt and get a monitor to wear on my finger overnight along with the mask. I am depressed and discouraged. Is prolonging my life a few more weeks that important?

If you have grooves you are tightening too much,,,Sounds like you need a mask liner. They stop leaks and prevent skin irritation. Go to padacheek.com
