Sleepyhead not reading my latest data

Post by thesleepermustawake » Sat Apr 19, 2014 7:49 am

So I tried both the MAC v 0.9.4 and the latest Win version and neither are importing my last day of data. It is there on the SD card.
Any suggestions?

Are you sure you had the SD card all the way into your CPAP?

SD card must be in the S9 all night and correctly inserted to get the detailed data that SleepyHead needs to report any use last night.
On occasion I have realized I didn't have the SD card totally inserted...it happens.

SleepyHead needs all the detailed data files for it to do any calculations...without them it just reports 0 usage.
Now ResScan can give partial summary usage data without having all the detailed data.

The S9 stores minimal usage data on the machine...so if SD card is not inserted all night or incorrectly...once it gets inserted properly it can only write the summary usage data to the SD card. ResScan can use this summary data but SleepyHead can't.

You still have the data available on the LCD screen though...must be checked prior to Noon though because that's when a new day/session starts.

yeah, so I think the lock/unlock thingy was causing data to not be written to the card. but then I took a nap this afternoon and it didn't record anything either. But I thought I had put it back to write enabled.
is there a way to tell if the card is ready to be written to on the machine?

Normally the S9 should tell you that the SD card is write protected when you insert it...mine does...it will give you a message to that affect. Do you look at the LCD screen when you insert the SD card while it accepts it? I learned I have to look at the LCD screen because sometimes I insert the SD card and it doesn't stay inserted fully...so to make sure I watch the LCD screen recognize and accept the SD card. It will tell you if it senses that the SD card is in write protect mode.

Are you sure that SleepyHead is going to the right spot to find the SD card? You might try creating a new location and making sure it is pointed to proper spot. Sometimes SleepyHead forgets where to look and when that happens it can't find new data.
