ResMed's "Easycare Online", http://www.resmed.com/epn/products/easy ... s&sec=true which allows remote wireless monitoring and adjustment of sleep therapy equipment, essentially described by Robysue's post, viewtopic/t97162/A-paranoid-fantasy.html , seems to be gaining traction in France and Europe, at least according to ResMed's 2nd Quarter 2014 earnings call: http://www.morningstar.com/earnings/ear ... D&pindex=4
In the same call, ResMed also indicates we'll see a couple more new masks this year and hints at the release of a "next generation respiratory care platform", first in Europe and then the America's. Could this be the S10?
Elsewhere on the web, http://www.theage.com.au/business/resme ... 35wc9.html , it is reported that ResMed is interested in using the sleep metric products of Apple, Jawbone, and Fitbit to develop a device to be marketed directly to ''concerned consumers'' to assist in quantifying sleep. The article speaks of monitoring sleep with a bedside table device - Sounds a lot like Zeo to me.
ResMed's next call, later this month, should be interesting.

The EasyCare Online system does indeed seem to be an early version of my paranoid fantasy.Jay Aitchsee wrote:ResMed's "Easycare Online", http://www.resmed.com/epn/products/easy ... s&sec=true which allows remote wireless monitoring and adjustment of sleep therapy equipment, essentially described by Robysue's post, viewtopic/t97162/A-paranoid-fantasy.html , seems to be gaining traction in France and Europe, at least according to ResMed's 2nd Quarter 2014 earnings call: http://www.morningstar.com/earnings/ear ... Although at this point, it still sounds as if the SD card slot is still present on the PAP machine. Nonetheless, this post does lead me to believe that if Resmed thinks that it can get the requisite number of DMEs and docs on board with EasyCare Online, that it will quietly eliminate the data card from future generations of machines.
