S9 Vpap Adapt ASV
S9 Vpap Adapt ASV
I just got off the phone with Apria and they are saying the S9 Adapt is $420.59 down and then monthly payments of $182.86 for 15 months. Does that sound reasonable? My insurance is supposedly paying 50%...
Any ideas to get it cheaper?

Re: S9 Vpap Adapt ASV
Do the math..... 182 .86 X 15 = 2742.90 + 420.59 = 3163.49 . Divide that by 2 =1561.24. Now Either phone around and see what price you can get it for at an approved DME OR go to cpap.com and see how much they will sell it for

Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.
Re: S9 Vpap Adapt ASV
Sorry for the confusion, that's my half. That price does include the humidifier, tubing and mask. I just can't seem to find the price online...

That's what a decent used car costs these days. Also, that's getting to be the trend with many DMEs and insurance companies these days. Regarding your DME, they don't call them Crapria for nothing

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
Re: S9 Vpap Adapt ASV
Looks like secondwindcpap has used for $1449 and new for $1849. Looks like they are the 36007 but if I had those prices to face through Apria I would call secondwind.

Thanks squid, I had seen that and it is more expensive. Sad to see the insurance company is paying at most $1,000....

Re: S9 Vpap Adapt ASV
Thanks so much! I called them and spoke with Leslie, They actually have the 36037 as well and for a very very good price with only 90 hours of usage. I think I'll be doing that.STL Mark wrote:Looks like secondwindcpap has used for $1449 and new for $1849. Yup, I just did that. Paid for the overnight Saturday delivery and still saved about 50% from what Apria was going to charge me.squid13 wrote:If your going to buy from them get the 36037 that is the auto version and is the latest version. Has cpap, asv and auto asv.

Re: S9 Vpap Adapt ASV
So just to update everyone. i got my machine on Saturday from secondwind. I gotta say I feel like a million bucks since I started using it that night. The only thing is that I do wake up a couple of times per night with leaks. I've tried wearing my mask (quattro air) looser and tighter and neither setting seems to be able to keep leaks from happening when the pressure is ramped up. I ordered the Simplus from cpap.com and I'm looking forward to trying that mask out. That's the one that I used during the sleep tests and it seemed to not have leaks. The DME in my area did not have them in stock, so that's why I figured it'd be good to have two masks.
Does anyone else have any mask suggestions.
PS. The first two nights I had an ahi of 0 the second night it was about 2.5 or so? I have yet to import last night's data, but I can't begin to say how much better I feel.
