Is this website slow?
Anyone else having problems with this website loading very slowly the last few days or is it just me? Other websites are coming up faster.

Not just you. It's been slow for me and my other regular sites load fairly promptly as usual.
Going from thread to thread is taking quite a bit of time. It's like I am dial up internet again. I was wondering if I had exceeded by internet allotment for the month and they had punished me by giving me dial up speed..
I did check the connection with an online speed checker yesterday and it was showing just as it should.
Also the search function seems to be "busy" a lot "try back later" message.

I've even gotten a 503 error (unavailable or down for maintenance) a couple of times.

It's been incredibly slow for me too. Plus, Tapatalk on my Kindle & Phone won't load -- says "no topic" --

Very slow at times for me the last few days. Sometimes it takes a while to load the website.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems with this web site loading. It's like watching grass grow.

Sometimes it's better than others. I've given up a few times and just closed my browser.squid13 wrote:I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems with this web site loading. It's like watching grass grow.

At some point, the laundry calls, the dishes beckon, and the dog may actually have to go THIS time!

Re: Is this website slow?
Yeah, I don't have the patience for it to load. I often don't wait around for it to load.

Re: Is this website slow?
If we are indeed that popular, it's wonderful!
I just hope the site can keep up with the traffic.
Maybe it's time to voluntarily dial back on the OT stuff,
especially political and insult threads (or is that redundant?)
