Has anyone hit a score of 100 in myAir?

Post by JeffL » Tue Jan 03, 2017 9:40 pm

I consistently get a 99 due to a 4 out of 5 on Mask On/Off. The one night I got a 5 out of 5 for Mask On/Off, I got dinged a couple of points for low usage hours.

I hit it all the time, my lowest was 98.

I copy my hours, pressure, leak rate, AHI, and OA off the sleep report screen each morning.
Why would I need a gold star on top of that?

My score is 100 almost every night. Only reason it's ever lower is when I remove the mask for any reason during the night. MyAir doesn't provide a lot of info but more than appears on the machine display.

No, but my collection of GOLD MyAir Badges is quite impressive.
It doesn't matter, though, because I'm enrolled pass/fail.

myAir counts getting up in the morning as one "mask off," which is all you're allowed, in order to get 100 (?). seems kind of harsh. some of us who want the 100 badly enough are forced to bring a bed pan or catheter to bed every night.

I guess being a senior male makes it almost impossible The time I got 5/5 for mask on/off, but had low usage must have been due to going to bed late, and getting up early, or forgetting to put the mask back on when I came back to bed after a pit stop.

It's just something to make the CPAP experience more fun I have access to all the data via Rescan, so no need to make notes from the screen in the morning.

Totally Bogus,
I got an extension cord and carried my machine to use the bathroom. You get dinged for removing your mask once
to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and then when you get up in the morning.
Stupid, not everyone has a 21 year old bladder.
I was raised to be competitive so I had to get a 100 score. I got it once, now I am happy with anything 96 and above
which is most every night...

Why take your mask off to go to the bathroom. Just shut your machine off unhook the hose and go, if you can't see the john sit down and do it no one will know.

How many gold stars do you need to get paid to use the app? Does your sleep Dr give you a cookie if you correct a certain amount. No, That's exactly what they are worth, nothing.

My therapy is more important than gold stars which is a substitute for real data from something like Sleepyhead which I review almost everyday.

BTW I take my mask off every time I get up. Who cares if there is a break in the night? If I got up, there was a break, fact.

If you are using your mask on a regular basis every time you sleep you will be fine.

When I get done doing whatever I did when I got up I put my mask on as soon as I lie down again.

If I get a good 6-7 or longer amount of sleep each night I know I will be functional that day.

Gold stars don't tell me that.

My scores are all over the place. I do get 100 sometimes and usually have a high score but there have been occasions I have gotten in the 80's and low 90's. Most nights I do very well. I also check SleepyHead occasionally, but not as often these days because I am doing well with low AHI's and have no need to micromanage my therapy. MyAir is just one more way to examine therapy and check how I am doing. I also look at Clinical settings every morning to see my results.

Mine is usually 99 because I can't go the whole night without going to the bathroom. I think I've hit 100 maybe 4 times in the year that I've been doing this.

Well, in the last week mine has been:

Saturday 79
Friday 63
Thursday 99
Wednesday 100
Tuesday 100
Monday 99
Sunday 100

Never really thought much about it. If I want to interrogate the data I just chuck it into Sleepyhead and bingo everything I want/need and some bits I don't understand!

Generally, all I'm bothered about is, did I sleep okay? If yes then I do noting, if no then I start checking why.

This is the first time in a week or so I've bothered to look at MyAir!

Oh, for the "bad days" (scores in the 60's & 70's) there's every likelihood that I had a kip during the day on the sofa ... wearing another CPAP so without checking both the data is irrelevant!

If you enjoy the MyAir app then great - we all have our own ways to handle the machines
