Re: Pituitary Tumor Surgery and CPAP
Best of luck with your surgery. I was diagnosed last June with a highly calcified macroprolactinoma adenoma on my pituitary gland. Luckily, mine is responding to medical treatment with cabergoline, and hopefully we'll not require surgery. God bless.

Re: Approval letter questions
Thank you. Could this possibly refer to how many times a year a particular expense is covered? That would kind of make sense seeing as there are 12 units for the filter, 2 for full face mask, etc.

Re: Approval letter questions
Sounds like a good theory, but there are 12 "CPT units" for PAP filter. That CAN'T be right. LOL

Approval letter questions
Hi, everyone. I completed my compliance period a week or two ago. Yesterday, I received a letter from my insurance company's DME approval company, saying that I was approved for full purchase of my APAP machine (YAY!) Then there is a list of Approved Services. There are many entries. Here are two as...

ResMed Quattro FX mask too large?
Hi. As I've posted before, I've been having compliance issues with my Swift FX nasal pillows. I got fitted for a Quattro FX full face mask on Saturday. The therapist used the fitting template on me, and told me I was a "medium-and-a-half" and recommended I go with a large. I've tried it two nights n...

Yes, I know, but I figured the one he asked in the OP was the one that he really wanted to be answered. I didn't feel like giving a long dissertation about self-diagnosis and such.chunkyfrog wrote:OP asked two questions: Pick one.

My insurance company will pay for new pillows every month, but will only pay for new headgear every 6 months.

CPAP machines. That's what you're looking for, isn't it? Did I read your post incorrectly? When you posted this, I didn't realize you were still living in Oz. If you can't get a script, your best bet is probably ebay. I found this rather quickly. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ResMed-S9-C-PAP-w-H5i-Heated-...

Look. As I said before, I didn't join this board to argue about politics. I am going to delete my posts on this thread, because I don't want any hard feelings between me and anyone else here. Let's agree to disagree, and move on.

Probably because you belong to a union. LMFAO. How did you come up with THAT piece of fiction? NO, I do not belong to a union. I would NEVER belong to a union. I wouldn't stand having dues taken from my pay to fund liberal politicians. I don't know where you came up with THAT conclusion. And you sh...
