Apex software

Post by kandybear9 » Fri Jul 19, 2013 4:09 am

I have recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea and I purchased an APEX ICH machine which seems to be working ok. I need to get software to analyse results, does anybody know where I can buy this software.

Hi - I'm not familiar with the machine (where do you live?), so can you give a link to it on a website?

Apex ICH Auto on Youtube
(The voice-over in this video clip is machine generated.)
Specs available here.

I'm not sure where you would get the software for this machine.
Given that ResMed is suing Apex for patent infringement, it makes me wonder if the SD card would work with sleepyhead as if it were a RemMed machine.

Hi, I am from Ireland but I bought the machine from Texas. Shortly after I bought the machine the vendor stopped selling it and does not carry any part's stocks. Apex is manufactured in Taiwan and it is a functional and attractive and very quiet machine. I bought it in the US because the price in Ireland was $1560 v $575 in the US

It's not one of the machines that are commonly dispensed in the US marketplace. I don't recall anyone on the forum ever mentioning it before.
I have no idea how to go about getting the software or reading the data that it supposedly gathers.
According to the specs there is some 18 days of some sort of detailed data but I have no idea what it might be.
Does it have a LCD screen that you can get into where some of the data might be shown?

How are you feeling? Any problems or does something seem lacking and that's why the need for the software reports or were you just generally curious?

The most commonly dispensed machine brands here in the US are the ResMed and Phillips Respironics followed by Devibiss and Fisher and Paykel. The first 2 have free software available which is easy to obtain and use.

I obtained the Apex software (Easy compliance 3) simply by contacting the company (http://www.apexmedicalcorp.com/contact. ... =en-global) However don't bother with the customer support line - they never reply. I used one of the other (non-Taiwan) email addresses for my region. They agreed to send a free CD by DHL. They needed the serial number of my machine. I also said (true) that my doctor was looking for the software, as apparently it is usually only given to medical practitioners.
