Thank you, Okie bipap.
I tried once before to download and install Sleepyhead, but couldn’t figure it out; I’ll try again.

Re: Has anyone hit a score of 100 in myAir?
Why take your mask off to go to the bathroom. Just shut your machine off unhook the hose and go, if you can't see the john sit down and do it no one will know. None of my business, I suppose, but why even shut it off? If you’re worried that the blowing will disturb your partner, just stick the hose...

Re: Is myAir any good?
Okay, let’s assume that the MA data is valid and accurate (but maybe not all that useful). Does it make sense that, with no equipment or “sleep habit” changes, my overall scores in the past week would range from 87 to 100? My seal/leak scores in the past week from 42 to 10.8? I’m not trying to be ar...

Re: Cheek Strap Pad for F20?
Thanks, I saw and read that thread, but was still somewhat uncertain, I.e., not so “smart.”
And I see now that P-a-C DOES have an anti-leak strap, but it’s for the full face ResMed masks; I have the N20, so no help.

Re: Cheek Strap Pad for F20?
I realize this is an old thread, but it’s relevant to me, so I thought I’d at least start here. According to the My Air app for ResMed, I still have a lot of air leaks. I was thinking about getting the appropriate cover from Pad-a-Cheek, but the name implies that the purpose is padding (presumably t...

No SD card?
I was issued a new ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset machine several weeks ago. It was explained to me that it automatically transmits the data to the supplier, Lincare. However, I subsequently realized that someone (Lincare?) had also removed the SD card. Have others received machines without cards? Any t...

Re: No SmartStart on ResMed AirSense 10?
Thanks for all the info.
I understand now that this is just the basic AirSense model, but if I can set the SmartStart myself, are there still reasons to request an upgrade to the Autoset?

No SmartStart on ResMed AirSense 10?
After using a Philips Respironic machine for many years, I recently replaced it. My new provider (Lincare) gave me a ResMed AirSense 10; since they didn’t provide a manual, I looked online and found some videos on YouTube. The demo’ed machine in one video had SmartStart, but the CPAP I received from...

Is SleepyHead Essential?
I'm not newly diagnosed, but I'm pretty new to this forum. I've been reading a lot of posts and trying to get educated, and I see a lot about SH. I'm curious how many use it, and the reason. I see my sleep doctor annually; he reads the SD card and either tells me everything looks good or, if not, h...

Re: Intro, Cleaning Habits, etc.
Speaking only for myself, I can't supply any reasoning, except following the manufacturer's instructions. And, somehow, putting something near your mouth and breathing into it just makes it seem like cleaning would be helpful.

Re: Intro, Cleaning Habits, etc.
First, thanks everyone for your responses. So, the consensus seems to be that I'm washing everything way too often, as well as unnecessarily emptying and refilling the distilled water daily? And the rainout has nothing to do with the hose position/CPAP machine height and everything to do with the ho...

Re: Intro, Cleaning Habits, etc.
In my opinion ...if you spend 10 minutes a day cleaning your equipment, you are wasting 60 hours a year or 1020 hours (42 days) over the 17 years you have been on CPAP. You will find many opinions about cleaning if you go back and search the postings. I think you value my time way more than I do! S...

Intro, Cleaning Habits, etc.
First, my apologies for asking about something that's probably already been asked a million times, but I'm a newbie to this forum and tried to search, but didn't find anything that specifically addressed this. Am I crazy/wrong to be washing all my equipment everyday? I'm especially wondering about t...
