Re: S11 vs S10
The ResMed 10s have a bigger motor, and I've heard that the 11s are more noisy. I think the 10s wind hands down.

Re: VA females users?
I had the ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset For Her and used it successfully for several years. I assume you do not still have your For Her version. I'm not a veteran, but I can't think why they would not allow you to exchange your present machine for the For Her version unless that version is no longer av...

Pugsy, you are by far the best part of this board. I spend less time here because of the trouble makers. Don't let the creeps get you down.

Re: Help needed.
My husband had really bad restless leg syndrome. After he had been on his pap machine for a good while he noticed that the leg shaking went away. I think it's likely that yours will go away over time too.

Re: New User: Cleaning CPAP Machine Humidifier Reservoir
Since I switched to distilled water I never empty or clean my reservoir. It never looks bad in any way, so I just pour more of the water in and go about my day.

Re: Long time user.
I'm pretty sure the message on your CPAP is just reporting the pressure change you made to your machine. I wouldn't worry about it. If you are using airplane mode I don't think anyone but you can see that you made a change. I think that is the point of airplane mode.

Re: Moving from APAP to Bi-Level and Insurance....
I'm in the process of trying to do the same thing. I read that Medicare may like to hear about some of the following things to approve the switch to Bi-Level: excessive daytime sleepiness, impaired cognition, mood disorders, insomnia, hypertension, ischemic heart disease, or a history of stroke. If ...

We can offer you more help if you provide us with more information. You can get an SD card cheaply at WalMart. If you download Oscar and post charts here then we can offer you much better help than we can now. Then you can sleep much more comfortably with your machine and have better therapy. It's u...

Would you please post your sleep study results with personal information redacted? That would show us whether you had a lot of central apnea the night of your study and other useful information that could help us to help you.

Re: Looking great IMO
I don't know the numbers, I just know that your chart still shows more flow limits than are good for you. You have it set for 1 now. If you don't want to go to 3 try 2. EPR means extra pressure relief and provides pressure support that makes exhalation easier than inhalation, which is how we breath ...

Wow, Rick! I just went to the Havening website and watched some videos and tried the Havening technique. I immediately felt calm and very well. I think this would help everyone.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Looking great IMO
Your chart shows that your flow limits are a bit high. You would probably feel better if you changed your EPR setting to 3.

If I were you I would get the ResMed AirSense 10 Autoset with card-to-cloud. It has a stronger motor than the 11 and is cheaper.
