Intellipap user not snoring on machine

Post by growing » Tue Mar 05, 2013 1:53 am

Hi, every body.
May I know if there is any one using IntelliPAP Auto but not snoring while on machine?
I mean, except me.

Has someone told you that you are snoring but the machine isn't picking it up? Otherwise it sounds like it's doing its job.

Hi, I'm confused what you're asking?
If you're using CPAP you shouldn't be snoring at all

I want to have the relevant info because it is given that the IntelliPAP algorithm uses snore as a precursor to determine required change (or no change) in therapy pressure.
I would like to ascertain whether my machine (or my organism ) is working within the extent of accepted and expected normalcy because my pressure-line is always a perfect straight line whether the minimum is at 3, 4, 5 or 6 cm. (However, at 7 and 8 cm, there has been a tendency of slight change, some times, but accompanied by higher AHI). Presently, my minimum is at 5 cm with weekly mean AHI under 1.0.

I will be using oximeter from tomorrow. So, tomorrow onwards, I will be able to post more clear picture of my efforts.
Any guess on my O2-saturation levels?

I use an Intellipap. I do not snore. My snore line is negative.

Since when does the Intellipap records your snores? On my Intellipap autoadjust reports, I have never seen a snoreline.

Intellipap shows snoring in the hourly event density graph. It's flaged as S and shows, after the end of delay, if there are three or more events in 6 minute period.
