I have been on cpap for a month and have a few problems.
When I goto bed at night, I have my mask on, but when I wake up the next morning I have taken the mask off and threw it in the floor, and right now as I am writing this I have a lump in my throught and feels like it won't go down, my throught is also swollen and you can't see much space in the back of my mouth. If anyone can help please tell me something that will help. Thanks

I had the same problem of removing my mask while sleep, earlier in the therapy. I have seen several other postings on this forum about the same problem.
I think that in my case, it was a very normal issue with getting used to CPAP therapy. I assume the problem was with the mask shifting and not being to able to breathe comfortably caused this. I turn the slarm feature on my CPAP to wake me up in case I removed the mask and put it back on. Do you have an alarm feature on your CPAP?
It took me a while to find the right interface (Breeze nasal pillow) and get comfortable with CPAP therapy. Hang in there.

C-flex is not a mask. It a a feature on the Remstart machine. I assume you refer to the machine.
I also got info on the surgery and was told that it has about 65-70% success rate. That is not a very good success rate. The problem might also return in the future.
I decided to give CPAP a good shot and it is working.

Do not - do not get the surgery!!!!
This surgery is painful, to start... then it's a LONG time healing...and it probably won't cure the sleep apnea. Stick with the CPap. It only takes a short time to adjust to it. I've been using one for 4 years and can't imagine not sleeping with it. My entire life changed when I started getting a good night sleep. You'll be amazed at how good you'll feel in a week or so. Hang in there, it gets better.
