Re: Napping without CPAP support

A travel CPAP is much better for battery operation than a full size machine so it makes sense as a backup. I have a very old Z1 that I use for air travel. Its not a great machine, dumb constant pressure, ...

Resmed makes a battery backup, and there are somewhat less expensive 3rd party battery backups. You can leave the machine plugged into ...

Re: If you have ever considered a backup battery for your cpap

I've used the ResMed DC /DC converters when camping, and yes, they work just fine. They stay on as long as the battery that they're connected to stays on. Sometimes you have to go to the source to get a product that works well. You might pay a little more, but you have a supported ...

... Delta. Their reply was "we're not able to advise further on the suitability due to it is not tested from our end." Nah, I just bought a Shargeek battery and have been using that. When I get time I'll figure it out. I had to bump up the voltage from the Shargeek to something higher than 12 - maybe ...

Re: If you have ever considered a backup battery for your cpap

I'm having trouble keeping my Airsense 11 running from the Air Mini DC-DC converter with a 12-volt battery, the same one I used to power my AirCurve 10 for years. It comes on, will run for a few minutes, then dies, then comes back on, and repeats. Did you ever figure out ...

Re: If you have ever considered a backup battery for your cpap

Good morning, Are any of you using a Resmed Air11 DC/DC Converter with an Ecoflow Delta 1300 (the original)? I've tried two brands of third-party DC converters but they power off and back on every 1-2 minutes so they aren't usable. I wonder if the Resmed converter would work for running my Airsense ...

I just ordered this Bluetti from Amazon. 50% off for Prime Day (ends at midnight). Not too big and not too small. Also got a car charger plug-in/adapter for my AirSense 10. Supposedly runs longer than using the ac plug-in directly.

Re: Pilot-24 Lite Medstrom

The main role of your Pilot is battery backup, the fact that you could also use it to charge your phone a convenience.

Give you have tried to contact Medistrom several times, and they won't respond, why would you want to leave it with them.

A second phone charger, is no big deal.
