Re: OT:Defective frog--Breast cancer---CURED!

They could be phosphorescent, holding a blacklight LED and a button cell. Kinky night lights. OMG - Seniors night at the casino will never be the same! "excuse me madam, I don't know if you realize, but your nipples are blinking, and it's rather having a detrimental effect, we've already had sixtee...

Re: Multiple machines?

I travel for work every week and worry my machine is going to get damaged going through so many airports. I have the same machine as you. I also bought a second machine for travel, but instead, after testing it and setting it up to match my primary machine, I find it just sits as "backup" and I tra...

Best continued wishes Ms. Frog! All of us in the pond are rooting for you! You and Pugsy and the rest have provided such wonderful help over my three years here. It's the least we could do to offer support.

Re: Anybody just give up?

I hear all of the success stories about CPAP machines but I'm curious. What percentage of people have attempted to use these devices and have just plain given up? Lots. I'd guess more than 50% give up. In my family I'm the poster child for use of CPAP. I have some relatives who also share their CPA...

The Frog is subdued and thirsty. Not much pain. Spread the word

Yay! Thanks for the update.

Re: When were you first diagnosed

It would be interesting to see how vigilant health care providers are at finding out SDBs. I'm not sure what your acronym SDB means -- maybe "Sleep Deprived B*st*rd?" SDB is the standard medical abbreviation for Sleep Disordered Breathing . It is an umbrella term that includes, obstructive sleep ap...

As far as being diagnosed with sleep apnea, I don't know if the health care provider would have diagnosed it if I didn't bring it up...

Re: Say hello to the noob

Thanks for the words of encouragement. Nights 2 & 3 I kept the mask on - progress! For me, the first week was rough. The second and third nights were actually worse than the first. I was really resenting the mask. By the 5th or 6th nights, I was getting used to it. By the end of the second week, it...

Re: Distilled Water Only while traveling?

I've had my Airsense S10 Autoset for only 2-3 days now and I leave on a business trip on Sunday for one week. I'll be speaking at a tech conference in Philly and will be at the conference hotel without a rental car. If you are taking a cab to the hotel, you could ask the driver to stop at a pharmac...

Re: Say hello to the noob

Like many, my fear is getting used to the mask. I travel for business, and have a lake house so getting used to transporting my new toy will be important. Welcome! This forum has been a hugely important piece of my successful use of CPAP. At least in the US, the TSA and airlines are pretty familiar...
