Re: Question about using my new Resmed S9Auto...pulsating
Here I go again...wondering, have you checked your mask, are you using the same mask as you did with the S8(pillows mask), have you replaced the headgear, cushions, etc lately? Is everything connected correctly? Just wondering??

Re: S9 In the house
Just curious, how are you deciding which size you need? It's very important to wear the proper size. You can find a sizing guide for the Quattro on our host's website.

Re: Question about using my new Resmed S9Auto...pulsating
I once made that mistake with the hose setting and I remember Mike had a very fitful night, lucky I discovered it the next night. I know everyone says there's no difference in the hose diameter with the correct setting but Mike breathes better with the standard lightweight hose, he seems to labor a ...

Re: Question about using my new Resmed S9Auto...pulsating
Just wondering, did they give you a slimline hose or standard hose? If you're using a standard hose you have to change the hose setting. Don't know if that would be causing the pulsing.

Re: Pity Party
My husband always had leg movements pre/cpap and the sleep study showed lots of leg movements and medication was recommended. Our Primary took a wait and see approach because he felt they were caused by arousals and apnea events, and the leg movements did stop after he adjusted to his cpap.

EPR turned on should help with t...

Re: New to CPAP, having difficulty adjusting to it
Definitely insist on trying another type of FF mask, the Amara hasn't had very many good reviews. And make sure you're measured correctly. Also can you get your Dr to lower the pressure a bit while you're adjusting. You may not even need the higher pressure once you're settled in your own bed withou...

Re: Husband is having his sleep test
Will be awaiting your update, hope it turns out he doesn't need cpap, having a herniated disc is enough to deal with. But if it turns out he does need treatment he's in good hands.

Re: Reduced REM - Lower AHI, Good or Bad?
Taking what probably junk apneas out I am figuring AHI of 5 for the good nights without Mirtazapine and .5 for the one night with. Pressure is 8 with an EPR of 3 , and with a fast EPR Inhale setting. Do you realize that with that setup, your "effective" pressure at the point of the end of your exha...
