Re: Mask on/off question
You need to be turning your machine off when you get up during the night. I find that when I get up and turn the machine off and then on again, the pressure is back down to 4, and I seem to be starting all over again. What are your pressure settings? Ramp pressure? Ramp time? The ramp restarts anyti...

Re: Res Med Air fit f20 & excessive events
I don't have leakage around my mask to face but rather around the swivel connection where there is a ton of air coming out. Are you talking about the design ports on the mask? The mask does have to constantly vent air to prevent rebreathing of high CO2. 19L/min leak That's not a bad average leak le...

You are asking someone who is in mid-stage dementia. I've seen it in three of our four parents.TASmart wrote:And why do you think cost is not material, especially when spending public monies? I also note you do not use Medicare, so how are you so expert on how it works in detail?

Do what you like, but this is not so important for CPAPers. The air going in our nostrils comes from that little machine on the nightstand.JaneAsimov wrote: I change my sheets/pillowcase frequently too which helps.

Nasal pillows work well for millions of people. Nasal masks, full face masks and hybrid masks work well for millions of people. Go with what works well for you. Granny's answers are always the best. Nasal pillows work. They would not be so popular if they didn't. When they were first introduced, it...

As a statistician, my research work is basically on sleep apnea. I have done lots of paper work and i recently taken a step to go online here http://bestsleepapneamachine.com and I am looking forward to publish more research work on sleep apnea. Sounds like a bad joke. Your choice of machines and m...

Re: Why am I the rare case? Please tell me I'm not alone
doctors tell me I'm the rarest case they've ever seen because no one has ever had a arousal index like that ever that they've seen it defeats me These doctors sound like idiots. Many people have an arousal index on their first sleep study as high as you reported. To get the best help from the forum...
