Re: I stopped.....

Yay! Me too. I was obsessively checking my numbers every day. But haven't checked in a over a week. You might want to download, even if you don't look at the data, once every 7 days, as Resmed machines overwrite the high resolution data. 30 days if you don't care about that. Thats what I do, but I ...

Re: Performance Maximizer (Fisher and Paykel)

Any idea if the software will work with the Icon Auto? I really dont like the infosmart software as its HUGE and not made for the individual user, I need a nice elegant piece of software like the speepyhead product.
I would like to try it and see if it works anyway

I stopped.....

......chasing numbers and fretting over data, I now chase a good nights sleep and am winning!!!! average AHI before was 5-6 now its below 2. I think that the anxiety over fretting was causing me sleeping problems. I staill have 15+ arousals a night and have no idea how to work on those, but I think ...

Re: Fisher&Paykel's Pilairo

Grant, I see in your signature that you are using SleepyHead to read the data card of your FnP machine. How are you doing this, I cant get the same version of sleepyhead to do anything. Luckily I have the same version of InfoSmart as you do so I can get some of the goodness off the card but I want ...

After starting cpap 2 months ago

I have had three instances of extreme sleepiness, where I cant get enough sleep. I literly have to stop what I am doing and go take a very long (4-6hr) nap. These episodes are followed by an extreme headache where everything hurts, especially loud sounds and bright lights.

Is this going to go away?

Re: Ugh! F&P Novo

I just don't get why DMEs carry the Novo at all. My DME gave me an Icon Auto even though my scrip was for a CPAP. With the little price difference I have seen online between the Icon models it makes sense for a DME to just stock the Auto and reduce the inventory (and probably the returns). Sure the...

Re: Charged for Download?!

I have seen what my DME has charged my insurance company, they break a boxed apap unit down to its components and charge seperatly they also did that with the mask. So far me dme is a big pain in the arse to deal with. After I settle a couple of issues they are so fired.

Re: Me, Him, and It

OMG it wasn't the leaks I was thinking of it scoring....it was the centrals...massive holding your breath for sure. I bet I would have some minute long centrals. True story: when I printed out all my data to show my sleep doc, she remarked on the "interesting" cluster of centrals I had one night. A...

Re: 30 Day Exchange?

My DME has a 30 day exchange policy - once. My original mask from them didn't work out so I've taken a couple of loaners, read masks that others have returned because they didn't work out. They have pretty much given up working with me so I'm on a "find a mask" mission through the internet. If it w...

30 Day Exchange?

Is the typical 30 day exchange of eguipment/masks etc a law or a company policy? My DME is telling me that I only have 2 weeks and that that time has expired. They are quite fired BTW, but until I get this straightened out I wont tell them this. My insurance is UHC and I will call but I just wanted ...

Re: "Invalid SD card, erase card data?"

This morning when I put my card into the computer my computer said the card needed to be formatted before using. I took the card out and went back to my BiPap, put the card in, turned the machine on a few seconds, turned it off, brought card back to the computer and it read it. Go figure. I got a s...
